This study aims to explore the case of future schools in Singapore and suggest implications for Korea. The implications drawn from the case of the Future School in Singapore are as follows. First, it is necessary to improve the quality of the curriculum through the use of ICT as a main role rather than an auxiliary role. Second, it is necessary to develop a program that can promote cooperative learning and self-directed learning while pursuing diversity, and pay attention to convergence theme-centered education between subjects. Third, it is necessary to enhance the educational competitiveness that connects the inside and outside of the school through the cyber learning method regardless of time and place. Fourth, a strategic teacher policy that combines both top-down and bottom-up support is necessary for the teacher's ICT utilization competency development program. Fifth, future schools should expand their awareness to not only the Ministry of Education but also all ministries of government to meet the needs of stakeholders and create a need to contribute to efficient resource allocation. Finally, it is necessary to establish a model from a short-term, mid-to-long-term perspective.

이 연구는 싱가포르의 미래학교 사례를 탐색하고 우리나라에 주는 시사점을 제안하고자 한다. 싱 가포르의 미래학교 사례를 통해 도출한 시사점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 보조적인 역할이 아닌 주역할 로서의 ICT 활용을 통한 교육과정의 질 제고가 필요하다. 둘째, 다양성을 추구하면서 협력학습과 자 기주도학습이 증진될 수 있는 프로그램을 개발하고, 교과 간 융복합 테마 중심 교육을 주목할 필요 가 있다. 셋째, 시간과 장소에 구애받지 않는 사이버 학습 방법을 통해 학교 안팍을 연계하는 교육 경쟁력을 제고할 필요가 있다. 넷째, 교원의 ICT 활용 역량 계발 프로그램을 위해 하향식과 상향식 의 지원 모두가 병행된 전략적 교원정책이 필요하다. 다섯째, 미래학교는 정부 부처의 교육부뿐만이 아니라 범부처로 인식을 확대하여 이해관계자들의 요구에 부응하고 나아가 효율적인 자원 배분에 기여할 필요를 조성해야 한다. 마지막으로, 단기적·중장기적 관점에서의 모형 정립이 필요하다.
