In this paper, I will restudy dharma-flower thought of Baegje’s Hyeongwang(玄光) and Hyehyeon(惠現). Hyeongwang accepted Nanyue Huisi(南岳慧思)’s Teachings of Lotus Sutra Pleasant Practices (法華經安樂行義) and presented the new concepts of water-light samādhi (水光三昧) and fire-light samādi (火光三昧) to enlighten the people effectively. Hyeongwang’s concept of the dharma-flower was influenced by Nanyue Huisi’s thought, but his efforts to enlighten the people had an originality. Meanwhile, Hyehyeon’s concept of the dharma-flower thought was also influenced by Nanyue Huisi’s Teachings of Lotus Sutra Pleasant Practices, and Hyehyeon added Three-Treatise(三論) to it. At this point, we can identify the originality of Hyehyeon’s dharma-flower. Hyehyeon preformed characteristic practice (有相行) and no characteristic practice (無相行) of Teachings of Lotus Sutra Pleasant Practices sincerely. Hyehyeon accepted and disseminated his ideas about Three-Treatise, because he was influenced by speaking emptiness thought in three kinds of patient endurance(三忍) of Teachings of Lotus Sutra Pleasant Practices. Finally, this paper introduces the various views of academia on two aspects of Hyehyeon’s achievements, that is, the location of Dalna mountain and Hyehyeon’s reason for moving to Dalna mountain.

이 논문에서는 백제의 현광(玄光)과 혜현(惠現)의 법화사상에 대해 재검토하고 자 한다. 현광은 남악혜사의 『법화경안락행의』를 수용하고 사람들을 교화하였다. 현광은 사람들을 효과적으로 교화하기 위해서 ‘수광삼매’와 ‘화광삼매’라는 새로운 개념을 제시하였다. 현광의 법화사상은 남악혜사의 사상에 영향을 받은 것이지만, 사람들을 교화하기 위한 내용에는 독창적인 성격이 있다. 그리고 혜현의 법화사상 은 남악혜사의 『법화경안락행의』에 영향을 받았지만, 거기에다 삼론의 사상을 추 가한 것이다. 이 지점에서 혜현의 법화사상에 독창성이 있다. 혜현은 『법화경안락행의』의 유상행(有相行)과 무상행(無相行)을 성실히 실천하였고, 또 『법화경안락행의』의 삼인(三忍)에서 공사상을 말하는 것에 영향을 받아서 삼론사상을 수용하고 강의하였다. 그리고 이 논문에서는 혜현의 행적 가운데 두 가지 사항, 곧 ‘달나산의 위치’와 ‘혜현이 달나산으로 옮겨간 이유’에 대해 학계의 여러 견해를 소개하였다.
