The purpose of this study was to specifically explore the realistic direction of future university education that meets the rapidly changing demands of the times in the era of the 4th industrial revolution. In this respect, I would like to examine the purpose and achievements of the establishment, focusing on Minerva School, which is considered one of the representative examples of educational innovation in universities. In this study, the existing related academic research and literature were investigated, but the main source of data was focused on related specialized articles in newspapers, considering the currentity of the subject. For data collection, on July 31, 2020, an online search for the keywords 'Minerva School' and 'Minerva University' resulted in 1,441 and 3,828 cases from NOOOO, and 101 cases and 92 cases from GOOOOO. After that, on July 20, 2021, the latest contents were checked once more through an additional search on the GOOOOO site. The data were collected and organized, and duplicates, repetitions, or content not directly related to the subject were excluded. Content analysis including open and in-depth coding process was performed, and items were named while dividing qualitative data into concepts, categories, and the upper and lower dimensions of the subject. The confirmed data were classified by subject as qualitative data and cited in the research results. The results of the study were divided into three main topics: school establishment and education goals (2 categories, 8 concepts), student selection and enrollment (2 categories, 9 concepts), school-level achievements and future directions (3 categories, 14 concepts). Based on the results of this study, it will be possible to confirm the countermeasures of future university education in the era of Corona 19, which caused the trend of the 4th industrial revolution to proceed rapidly, and obtain educational implications for applying them in detail.

본 연구는 4차 산업혁명시대에 급변하는 시대적 요구에 부응하는 대학 미래교육의현실적인 방향을 구체적으로 탐색하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이러한 측면에서 대학교육혁신의 대표적인 사례로 손꼽히고 있는 미네르바스쿨을 중심으로 설립 취지 및 성과등을 다각도로 살펴보고자 한다. 본 연구에서는 주제의 시류성을 고려하여 기존의 관련 학술 연구와 문헌을 조사하되 주된 자료원은 신문의 관련 전문 기사 등을 중점적으로 살펴보았다. 자료 수집을 위해 2020년 7월 31일에 ‘미네르바스쿨’, ‘미네르바대학'이라는 키워드로 온라인에서 검색한 결과, 검색 엔진인 네OO에서 1,441건과 3,828건, 구O에서 101여건과 92여건이 도출되었다. 이후, 2021년 7월 20일에 G모 사이트에서 추가 검색을 통해 최신 내용을 확인하였다. 데이터를 수렴, 정리하면서 중복, 반복되거나주제와 직접적인 관련이 없는 내용은 제외하였다. 개방, 심화 코딩 과정을 포함한 내용분석을 거쳤고 질적 자료를 개념, 범주, 주제의 상, 하위 차원으로 구분하면서 항목을명명하였다. 확정된 데이터는 질적 자료로서 주제별로 분류되어 연구결과에 인용되었다. 연구 결과는 크게 3가지 주제로서 대학 설립 및 교육 목표(2범주 8개념), 학생 선발및 입학(2범주 9개념), 학교 차원의 성과와 향후 방향성(3범주, 14개념)으로 나누어 자세하게 제시되었다. 본 연구의 결과를 토대로 4차 산업혁명의 흐름을 가속화시킨 코로나19의 시대에 미래 대학교육의 대응 방안을 확인하고 이를 구체적으로 적용하는 데대한 교육적인 시사점을 얻을 수 있을 것이다.
