This study aimed at identifying the research trends of sports safety after 2000 to derive the direction of research trends and subject setting in related fields. Since 2000, when sports safety research began to spread, the English subject of 106 papers published in journals was analyzed using word cloud analysis, N-gram language modeling technique, and topic modeling technique. As a result of applying frequency analysis and word clouding techniques, research was conducted focusing on keywords related to management, accidents, leisure, facilities, events, and laws. In the results of Bi-gram language modeling and network connectivity analysis, it was analyzed that sports and safety-based research analysis had the most important centrality, and safety was analyzed to be highly related to the research topics of management, consciousness, and accident. As for the topic modeling analysis results, it was confirmed that two studies were focused on safety accident studies of participants and studies on safety management and legal systems. This study can provide useful data for policy establishment, related research direction setting, and related research, such as the basic plan for safety management of sports facilities promoted by the government since 2015.

본 연구는 2000년 이후 스포츠안전 연구 경향을 객관적으로 분석하여 관련 분야 연구 경향과 주제 설정 등에 대한 방향성을 도출하고자 하였다. 스포츠 안전 연구가 확산되기 시작한 2000년 이후 학술지 게재 논문 106편의 영문제목을 대상으로 워드클라우드 분석, N-gram 언어 모델링 기법 및 토픽모델링 기법을 사용하여 분석하였다. 빈도분석과 워드클 라우딩 기법 적용 결과 관리, 사고, 레저, 시설, 이벤트, 법과 관련 된 키워드를 중심으로 연구가 수행되었다. 바이그램 언어 모델링 및 네트워크 연결성 분석 결과로 스포츠와 안전 기반 연구 분석이 가장 중요한 중심성을 가지고 있었고 안전은 관리, 의식, 사고라는 연구 주제와 연계성이 높은 것으로 분석되었다. 토픽모델링 분석결과는 참여자의 안전 사고 연구와 안전관리 및 법제도 연구 두 가지가 중점적으로 수행된 것으로 확인되었다. 본 연구는 2015년 이후 정부가 추진하고 있는 체육시설 안전관리 기본계획 등 정책 수립 및 관련 연구의 방향 설정과 관련 연구의 수행에 유용한 자료를 제공할 수 있다.
