This article aims to examine the actual condition of poly-victimization in children of low-income families; and investigate the effect of factors to which low-income children are typically exposed: a lack of care, unstructured daily activities, and community disorder. Using 「Survey on Crime Victimization of Children in Low-income Families, 201 1」 of Korean Institute of Criminology, a sample of 657 low-income children ages 11 to 13 were analyzed. The results of the study are as follows. First, 24.1% of the participants had experienced more than two types of victimization in the past year. Second, low-income children with a lack of care, a high level of unstructured daily activities, and a high level of disorder in their area of residence were more likely to experience poly-victimization than the non-victimized group. The implications and limitations of the current study are discussed.

이 연구는 저소득층 아동의 다중범죄피해 실태를 살펴보고, 저소득층 아동이 쉽게 노 출되어 있는 특성들인 돌봄 부재와 비구조적 일상활동, 지역 무질서가 다중범죄피해 경험에 미치는 영향을 살펴보는 것을 목표로 한다. 분석을 위하여 한국형사·법무정책 연구원에서 수행한 「저소득층 아동의 범죄피해 실태조사, 2011」자료를 활용하였으 며, 해당 자료에서 저소득층에 속하는 657명을 연구 대상으로 하여 분석을 수행하였 다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 전체 응답자 중 24.1%가 2개 유형 이상의 다중범 죄피해를 경험한 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 돌봄이 부재하고, 비구조적 일상활동 수준이 높으며, 거주하는 지역의 무질서 수준이 높은 저소득층 아동은 무피해 집단에 비해 다 중범죄피해를 경험할 확률이 높았다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 연구의 함의와 제한점이 논의되었다.
