In the early and mid 20th century, right after the two World Wars, Hendrik Kraemer was the scholar who cleary stated problems as well as answers of the world’s missionary work through several papers. His theology can give insights from many angles to missionary scene of christian colleges which are struggling in this changing times. First, his Biblical realism can help restore biblical Christianity of campus missionary work in the crisis of secularization and restructuring of colleges. It’s because his Biblical realism allows campus members, who ask "can Bible change people's lives and community in real life?", to experience a holistic, creative, and transcendent history through the revelation of God, the absolute other. Next, Kramer's ecclesiology can transform the structure of school ministry ― which causes negative effects as it has become increasingly bureaucratic despite the rapid challenges of the times ― into a centrifugal missionary work system, creating a new form of ministry and community. Lastly, Kramer's view to other religions can offer a better missionary approach to those who are considering alternatives to campus missionary work amid religious pluralism. It’s a missionary life that can testify the uniqueness of Jesus Christ’s revelation without compulsion or silence but based on humility and respect. Likewise, the insight of Kramer will present new possibilities for Christian college's missionary works amid today's internal and external crises.
