This thesis is a study on Christian adult education centered on village education community required in the new normal era of COVID-19. Middle age is a period of productivity and is most active in the public sphere. Therefore, systematic and continuous education is needed for holistic religious maturation, public practice, self-realization, and social contribution of adults. Adults as learners are characterized by self-direction, rich experiences as learning resources, contextual learning, and pursuit of practicality of knowledge. Therefore, implementing the education of adults as a village education course not only reflects the needs of learners, but is also necessary for communication and meeting with the village community. The village education course is to learn from the village, learn through the village, learn with the village, and learn for the village. Adults are encouraged to pursue the integrity of knowledge and practice while participating in the village education curriculum, and experience is allocated as an important learning resource. Through discussion and dialogue, they become aware of the meaning of individual existence and the importance of community, and develop democratic citizenship. When church education transforms the paradigm into village education, it can be an education that helps to realize the values of the kingdom of God in specific places of life. To this end, the Christian adult education curriculum should be structured in an educational ecological dimension, and human networks and social capital for education should be expanded and shared with the village. Also, in order to form a community of encounter and hospitality, koinonia and the study of the Words should be conducted in parallel. By forming and participating in the village education community, the church will realize the Christian values in the village and the ontological mission of the missional church through the daily practice of the kingdom of God.

본 논문은 코로나19 뉴노멀 시대에 요구되는 마을교육공동체 중심의 기독교 성인 교육에 관한 연구이다. 중년기는 생산성의 시기이며 공적 영역에서 활동이 가장 활발 한 때이다. 따라서 성인들의 통전적인 신앙성숙과 공적 실천, 자기실현 및 사회기여를 위한 체계적이고 연속적인 교육이 필요하다. 학습자로서 성인은 자기 주도성, 학습자 원으로서 풍부한 경험, 맥락적 학습, 지식의 실용성 추구 등의 특징이 있다. 따라서 성인들의 교육을 마을교육과정으로 시행하는 것은 학습자의 필요를 반영할 뿐 아니라 마을공동체의 소통과 만남을 위해서도 필요하다. 마을교육과정이란 마을에서 배우고, 마을을 통해서 배우며, 마을과 더불어 배우고, 마을을 위해서 배우는 것이다. 성인들 은 마을교육과정에 참여하면서 지식과 실천의 통전성을 추구하도록 격려되며, 경험이 중요한 학습자원으로 배분된다. 토론과 대화를 통하여 개인의 존재 의미와 공동체의 중요성을 자각하게 되며 민주적 시민역량을 함양하게 된다. 교회교육이 패러다임을 마을교육으로 전환할 때 하나님 나라의 가치를 구체적 삶의 자리에서 구현해 갈 수 있도록 돕는 교육이 될 수 있다. 이를 위하여, 기독교 성인교육과정을 교육생태학적 차원에서 구조화하고, 교육을 위한 인적 네트워크 및 사회적 자본을 마을과 함께 확 장, 공유해야 한다. 또한 만남과 환대의 공동체를 형성하기 위하여 코이노니아와 말씀 연구가 병행되어야 한다. 마을교육공동체를 형성하고 참여함으로 교회는 마을 안에서 기독교적 가치를 구현하고 하나님 나라의 일상적 실천을 통해 선교적 교회의 존재론 적 사명을 구현하게 되는 것이다.
