The purpose of this study is to categorize the subjective perception of COVID-19 among senior care facility workers and to identify the characteristics of each type. A total of 32 Q statements were constructed using a Q method, and a survey was conducted on P samples of 29 workers at senior care facilities and nursing homes. As a result of the analysis, there were three types of workers' perceptions on COVID-19. The first type is 'infection anxiety' that is with the most dissatisfaction with the government's quarantine guidelines and anxiety about the infection and spread of COVID-19 in facilities. The second type is ‘flexible response for infection’, which has a great anxiety about the infection but actively cooperates with and resonds to quarantine. The third type is the "demanding of system improvement," which strongly demands specific support and compensation for the occurrence or prevention of COVID-19 infectious diseases in the facility. Based on the type of awareness of workers in response to COVID-19, the measures to cope with and support infectious diseases such as COVID-19 in elderly living facilities were proposed.

본 연구는 향후 감염병 상황에서 노인생활시설에 적합한 대처방안을 탐색하기 위해서, 코로나19로 인해 많은 혼란과 어려움을 겪고 있는 노인생활시설 종사자들의 코로나19 대응에 대한 주관적 인식을 유형화하고, 유형별 특성을 파악 하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 Q방법을 활용하여 32개의 Q진술문을 구성하였고, 경기도의 노인요양시설과 노인양 로시설 종사자 29명을 P표본으로 선정하여 조사를 실시하였다. 분석결과, 종사자의 인식유형은 세 가지로 나타났다. 제 1유형은 ‘감염불안형’으로 시설 내에서의 코로나19 감염 및 확산에 대한 불안과 정부의 방역지침에 대한 불만이 크고, 제 2유형은 ‘감영대응 유연형’으로 코로나 감염에 대한 불안은 크지만, 개인이나 시설 차원에서 적극적으로 방역에 협조하고 적극적으로 대응하고 있다고 인식한다. 제 3유형은 ‘제도개선 요구형’으로 시설 내에서의 코로나19 감염병 발생이나 예방에 대한 구체적인 지원 및 보상을 강하게 요구하는 유형이다. 코로나19 대응에 대한 종사자들의 인식유 형을 토대로, 노인생활시설의 코로나19와 같은 감염병에 대한 대처 및 지원방안을 제시하였다.
