This study is conducted to seek a way of activating of extracurricular education, investigating the awareness of extracurricular education and targeting the learners of C university in Kyungnam province. Data collection was performed with 217 registered students of C university from February 1 to February 15 in 2021 as Google questionnaires. The survey consists of the questions about the reason why they have participated in extracurricular program, the number of they have participated, the choice criterion, the level of satisfaction with extracurricular program, a way of activating extracurricular program. Data analysis was done using IBM SPSS 23.0, frequency analysis, χ2 test, independent t-test and One-way ANOVA. A participation experience of extracurricular program displays a significant difference according to their grade, and there is a difference according to their gender and grade in the case of reason of participation and a demand for extracurricular program, the level of satisfaction with extracurricular program. When establishing and operating for extracurricular program in the future, those conditions are need to be considered based on recipients’ characteristics and demands.

본 연구는 경남소재 C대학의 학습자를 대상으로 비교과 교육에 대한 인식을 조사하여 비교과 교육의 활 성화 방안을 모색하고자 시행하였다. 자료 수집은 C대학의 재학생 217명을 대상으로 2021년 2월 1일부터 15일까 지 온라인설문(Google)으로 시행하였다. 설문은 비교과 프로그램의 참여 경험 및 이유, 참여 횟수, 프로그램 선택 기준, 비교과 프로그램의 만족도, 비교과 프로그램 활성화를 위한 방안 등을 조사하였다. 자료분석은 IBM SPSS 23.0을 사용하였으며, 빈도분석, χ2 test, independent t-test와 One-way ANOVA를 시행하였다. 비교과 프로그 램의 참여경험은 학년에 따라 유의한 차이가 있었으며, 참여 이유와 개설희망 비교과 프로그램, 비교과 프로그램 만족도의 경우 성별과 학년에 따른 유의한 차이가 있었다. 추후 비교과 프로그램 개설·운영 시 이를 반영하여 대 상자의 특성과 수요에 맞는 비교과 프로그램 개설 및 운영이 필요하다.
