Learning, which was limited only to the physical space of the school as a legacy of modern education, has now expanded to the community outside the school in accordance with social changes. The educational linkage between schools and local communities, which had spread to our society along with local educational autonomy, enabled the formation of a Learning Web through the expansion of educational relations. And, thanks to the development of IT technology, it is expanding into a digital learning ecosystem that can mediate a wider range of learning relationships. Therefore, this study attempted to examine cases of the formation of a learning network and establishment of a digital learning ecosystem through linkage between schools and local communities in Korean society, and to present a new prospect for the future school direction. Edutech's innovation along with the COVID-19 pendemic is showing the possibility of a new digital learning ecosystem that goes beyond the discourse of the existing village education community. The future school should play an intermediary role for online and offline learning connected to a global learning network beyond villages and communities within the foundation of a digital learning ecosystem. In addition, there is an urgent need to reorganize legal, institutional, and ethical systems to prevent infringement of fundamental rights and anti-educational phenomena in the field of education that can occur due to limitations of AI and digital technologies.

근대 교육의 소산으로 ‘학교’라는 물리적 공간에만 국한 되었던 학습은 급격한 사회 변화 속에서 이제 학교 밖 지역 사회로 확장되기에 이르렀다. 분권적 지방교육자치와 더불 어 우리사회에 확산되었던 학교와 지역사회의 교육적 연계 는 교육적 관계성의 확장을 통한 학습망의 형성을 가능케 하였으며, 눈부신 IT 기술의 발전에 힘입어 보다 광범위한 영역의 학습관계를 촉발할 수 있는 디지털 학습생태계로 확 대되고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 우리사회에서 현재 활발히 진 행되고 있는 학교·지역사회 연계를 통한 학습망의 형성과 디지털 학습 생태계 구축의 실천적 사례들을 살펴보고 미래 학교 방향에 대한 새로운 조망을 제시하고자 하였다. COVID-19 사태와 더불어 에듀테크의 혁신은 기존 마을교 육공동체의 담론을 넘어선 새로운 차원의 디지털학습생태계 의 가능성을 열어주고 있다. 이에 미래학교는 디지털 학습 생태계의 토대 속에 마을과 지역사회를 넘어 전 세계적 학 습 네트워크와 연결된 온·오프라인 학습의 매개적 역할을 담당해야 한다. 그리고 AI 및 디지털 기술의 한계에 의해 발생할 수 있는 교육 영역에서의 기본권 침해와 반교육적 현상을 방지하기 위한 법적·제도적·윤리적 체저의 정비도 시급한 실정이다.
