The family was established by God and functions as an educational institution. For humans, the first teachers are parents. In modern society, however, people increase interest in wealth in line with industrialization and changes in family values resulting in problems such as increased divorce rates, so such family education function is being weakened or lost. In churches, the importance of family ministry is considered varied depending on the pastor, as the family ministry has been reduced to a simple problem-solving program. However, the family ministry is designed to restore the true meaning of the family established by God, and should not be neglected by the church, which has a clear purpose to found families on the truth. Instead, the church must realize the pastoral importance of family ministry and put its biblical plan into practice. In other words, the family ministry should form one of the pillars of the ministry, and when a healthy next generation is established through healthy families, the kingdom of God can be expanded, thereby enabling an effective mission. However, this study found that studies on family ministry have yet to be boosted. In addition, the family ministry programs of three Korean churches, known to be successful, were examined, revealing that they were being programmed instead of adhering to biblical teachings. Those cases were thought to compromise the importance of biblical truth over family ministry programs. Studies on family ministry also raise the need for family ministry as a follow-up measure as the divorce rate increases, but the family ministry is more focused on prevention. Family ministry should not be viewed as simply maintaining a home or restoring a broken home. Family ministry should define its clear goals so as to glorify the God who established the family, embrace biblical values, and practice the discipleship of Jesus Christ in the world. The family ministry will achieve effective ministry goals, rather than a simple program, only when it is devoted to restoring the family established by God, the family that glorifies God, and the family that loves each other. Thus, the family ministry should be regarded and practiced as a pillar of ministry so that a biblical family can be established. The plan for family ministry is as follows. First, it is necessary to form a biblical view of values. Second, families need to be open. Third, table fellowship should be practiced.

가정은 하나님께서 세우셨으며, 교육기관으로서 기능을 가진다. 인간에게 최초의 교사는 부모이다. 그러나 현대사회는 산업화로 소득의 관심이 증대되고 이혼율 증가 등 가정에 대한 가치관이 변화되면서 이러한 기능이 약화되거나 잃어가고 있다. 교회 는 가정사역이 단순한 문제 해결을 위한 프로그램으로 전락하면서 목회자에 따라 중 요성이 매우 다르게 여겨지고 있다. 그러나 가정사역은 하나님께서 세우신 가정의 참 된 의미를 회복하는 사역으로 진리 안에서 가정이 세워지도록 분명한 목적이 있기에 교회가 소홀히 해서는 안 된다. 오히려 교회는 가정사역에 대한 목회적 중요성을 깨 닫고 성경적 방안을 실천해야 한다. 즉 가정사역은 목회의 한 축이 되어야 하며, 건강 한 가정을 통해 건강한 다음 세대를 세워나갈 때 하나님 나라가 확장되어 효과적인 선교가 될 수 있다. 그러나 본 연구를 통해 가정사역에 대한 연구가 미진한 것으로 분석되었다. 또한 한국교회에서 효과적인 가정사역을 실시하고 있는 세 교회의 사례 프로그램을 고찰해 본 결과 성경적 배경에 따르기보다 프로그램화 되어 가고 있는 우려가 드러났다. 이 는 가정사역이 성경적으로 진행되기보다는 가정사역 프로그램이 진리보다 더 중요하 게 여길 위험성이 있는 것으로 판단되었다. 가정사역에 대한 연구들도 이혼율 증가에 따라 후속 조치로 가정사역 필요성을 제기하고 있지만 가정사역은 예방적 기능이 더 중요하다고 할 수 있다. 가정사역은 단순히 가정을 유지하거나 깨어진 가정을 회복시 키는 것으로 여겨서는 안 된다. 가정사역은 가정을 세우신 하나님을 영화롭게 하며, 성경적 가치관을 형성하고 세상에서 예수 그리스도의 제자도를 실천하도록 분명한 목 표가 드러나야 한다. 하나님께서 세우신 가정, 하나님을 영화롭게 하는 가정, 서로에 게 사랑을 실천하는 삶의 방향이 분명한 가정사역이 될 때 단순한 프로그램이 아니라 효과적인 선교가 될 수 있다. 그러므로 가정사역은 성경적 가정이 세워지도록 목회의 한 축으로 여기고 실천되어야 한다. 그 방안은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 성경적 가치관을 형성하도록 해야 한다. 둘째, 가정을 개방해야 한다. 셋째, 식탁교제를 해야 한다.
