Noting the friendly correlation between modern and modern sports and nationalism, HQ examined in what circumstances the “antiKorean” remarks surrounding the sports world were formed and formed to gain the authority of sports nationalism. It reviewed the background of the appearance of “Net Right” and the JLeague, the culture of supporters, the World Cup, and the national competition. In response to the expansion of sports nationalism and the exclusion of both Korea and Japan, the two countries highlighted the meaning of the response by looking at the activities of Zainichi Korean sports players and citizenship after the third generation. After the third generation, Zainichi Korean sports players have demonstrated their existence and skills by changing their nationality for their career, despite being attacked by the two countries. Compared to the older generation, the first and second generation of Zainichi Korean were forced to choose between South Korea and North Korea, the third generation showed Zainichi Korean sports players developing their careers and careers by having a flexible plural identity. Rather than being bound by the yoke of the nation's national anthem, their activities across the border while flexibly utilizing their presence as Japan are a history of “present progress” beyond the sports world.

본고는 근현대 스포츠와 내셔널리즘의 친화적 상관관계에 주목하면서 스포츠 계를 둘러싼 일본 내 ‘혐한(嫌韓)’ 언설이 어떠한 환경에서 배태, 형성되어 스포 츠 내셔널리즘의 권위를 획득해 갔는지를 살폈다. 주로 축구를 중심으로 일본의 프로리그인 J리그와 서포터 문화, 월드컵을 비롯한 국가 대항전을 둘러싼 소동, ‘넷우익(Net右翼)’의 등장배경을 검토하였다. 이어서 이 같은 스포츠 내셔널리즘 의 확대와 한일 양국의 배외주의에 대해 3세대 이후 재일코리안 스포츠 선수들이 국적과 시민권을 넘나들며 활약하는 모습과 그들의 복수 아이덴티티를 이충성, 정대세 선수의 사례를 중심으로 살피면서 그 대응방식의 의미를 부각시켰다. 한일 양국의 배외주의의 협공을 받으면서도 3세대 이후 재일코리안 스포츠 선 수들은 자신의 선수 커리어를 위하여 국적을 바꿔가며 스타디움을 무대로 자신의 존재와 실력을 입증해왔다. 윗세대인 1, 2세대 재일코리안이 한국 혹은 북한 가운 데 하나만을 선택하도록 강요받거나 조국지향이 강했던 것에 비해, 이들 3세대 이후 재일코리안 스포츠 선수들은 어느 한쪽, 즉 한 국가에 귀속, 구속되는 사고 방식에서 벗어나 유연한 복수 아이덴티티를 지니면서 자신의 진로와 커리어를 개 척해나가는 모습을 보여준 것이다. 국민국가의 굴레에 구속되기 보다는 재일로서 의 자기 존재를 유연하게 활용하면서 국경을 넘어 활약해온 이들의 활동은 스포 츠계를 넘어 새롭고 다양한 재일의 존재방식을 만들어 나가고 있는 ‘현재진행형’ 의 역사라고 생각한다.
