The purpose of this study is to present a new perspective in the study of Zainichi Korean Literature. especially this study focus out the network of Japanese editors as the ‘reader’ and Zainichi Korean Literature. First, this study examined that around 1970, when Zainichi Korean Literature began to show their presence, Japanese society continued to protest against the anti-war civil movement and US-Japan Security Treaty, and Zainichi Korean’s works appeared in the Japanese public forum along with discrimination, hate, pollution, and Okinawa reversion. Second, it figured out that the Japanese editor’s role as a ‘reader’ was largely responsible for allowing Zainichi Korean intellectuals to show their presence in Japanese journalism. In particular, this study dealt out that in Kim Sok-pom’s works, the editor and book artist Yoshiya Tamura read The Death of the Crow(鴉の死) and provided Kim Sok-pom with network for Japanese creation. Third, this paper proposed that what is needed now is the foundation of interdisciplinary research, as Kazantō(火山島, Hwasan-do) has been translated into Korean, which contains the memories of the The Jeju 4.3 Incident and those who have lived the liberation space. In addition, it is important that through the translation and research of Hwasan-do into various languages, the task proposed to share the problematic consciousness of Hwasan-do internationally.

본 논문은 ‘독자’로서의 편집자라는 존재에 초점을 맞추어 ‘독자’로서의 일본 인 편집자와 재일조선인문학의 네트워크를 추적함으로써 재일조선인문학 연구 의 새로운 시좌 제시를 목적으로 한다. 첫째, 재일조선인문학이 존재감을 드러내기 시작한 1970년을 전후로 한 일본 사회는 반전과 반핵을 외치는 시민운동과 미일안전보장조약을 둘러싼 정치적 대립과 반목이 이어지던 상황이었고, 그러한 상황 속에서 재일조선인 문제와 그 들의 사유는 차별과 혐오, 오염, 오키나와 반환 등의 사회문제와 더불어 일본어 공론장에 등장하여 존재감을 드러냈다는 점을 지적하였다. 둘째, 재일조선인 지식인이 일본어 공론장에서 존재감을 드러낼 수 있었던 데에는 ‘독자’로서의 일본인 편집자의 역할이 있었고, 특히 김석범 문학에 있어서는 다무라 요시야라고 하는 ‘편집장정가’가 김석범의 『까마귀의 죽음』을 읽고 김석범에게 일본어 창작을 위한 장과 네트워크를 제공했다는 점을 밝혔다. 셋째, ‘독자’의 목소리를 통해, 제주4･3사건과 해방공간을 산 이들의 기억을 담은 『화산도』가 한국어로 온전히 번역된 지금, 이에 대해 학제간 연구를 통해 한국어 공론장에서 그 연구의 토대를 구축하고, 다양한 언어로의 번역･연구를 통해 국제적으로 공유해 나가야 한다는 시사점을 얻을 수 있었다.
