This paper introduces the Sijochang compilation ‘Sidyochaek’ and makes a forecast on future tasks. This compilation is from a personal collection and the compiler and date are unknown, and 40 pieces were transcribed and listed on 31 pages of book 1. The title ‘Sidyochaek’ is placed on the cover and each page shows one or two work names, and the first, middle and last parts, with saseol below it. The entire composition has no score cover and numbers 1 to 28 list pyeonghijo, 29 to 31 list the semi-editorial to sing by combining pyeongsijo and saseolsijo, and 32 to 34 sajseolsijo and 35-40 again lists pyeongsijo, which is the pyeongjo. The piece is indicated all in Hangeul and there are four pieces that appear independently in this compilation, There are two pieces that are between independent appearance and different versions, and three that can be viewed as adjacent pieces. Upon examining the level of sharing with other compilations focusing on pieces in order to explore the compilation environment of this compilation, it can be said that the compiler of this compilation referred to several originals or selected a few saseol that were trending in the time in a limited fashion. Also, this compilation can be said to be related somewhat to post-20th century sijochang compilations such as ‘Geumseong,’ ‘Sipyeong,’ and ‘Pyeonggwon.’ Of the 40 listed in this compilation, 22 are themed on ‘ganghohanjeong’, which means ‘enjoyment, pride, contentment and settlement in the heavens, nature, gardens, etc. away from the secular world,’ and it only list five with social themes, Therefore, it can be said to be a compilation interested more in personal sentiment compared to national or social issues. The tasks ahead are first handling the pieces placed between independent appearance and different versions, and second, to explore the compilation location of this compilation. Through this, it will be possible to elevate precision on sijo types and examine the characteristics of 20th century compilation sijo original collections.

본고는 시조창본 가집인 『시됴책』을 소개하고 앞으로의 과제를 전망하였다. 본 가집은 개인 소장본으로 편찬자와 편찬 연대를 알 수 없으며, 필사본 1책 31면 에 40수의 작품을 수록하고 있다. 표지에 “시됴책”의 제명을 두고 이후 한 면마다 한두 수의 작품을 담고 있다. 그리고 각 작품마다 초장·중장·종장을 표시하여 그 아래 사설을 두고 있다. 전체 구성은 악곡 표지 없이 1∼28번까지는 평시조, 29∼31 번까지는 반사설, 32∼34번까지는 사설시조 그리고 35∼40번까지는 평조인 평시조 를 각각 수록하고 있다. 작품은 순 한글로 표기하였다. 본 가집에만 단독으로 출현 하는 작품은 4수이며, 이외 단독 출현과 이본 사이에 놓인 작품은 2수가, 근접 작품 으로 볼 수 있는 작품이 3수가 있다. 본 가집의 편찬 환경을 탐색하기 위해 작품을 중심으로 다른 가집들과 공유 정도 를 확인하였다. 그 결과 본 가집 편찬자는 여러 저본을 참고했거나 당시 유행하던 사설 가운데 제한적으로 선택하여 수집했다고 할 수 있다. 그리고 본 가집은 20세 기 이후 시조창 가집들인 『금성』, 『시평』, 『평권』등과 어느 정도 관계를 맺 고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 수록된 40수 중 22수는 ‘세속과 거리를 두고 있는 선 계, 강호, 전원 등에서의 흥취, 자긍, 자족, 취락’인 강호한정의 주제를 갖고 있으며 사회적인 주제에 대해서는 5수만을 수록하고 있어 편찬자는 국가, 사회 문제보다는 개인의 정서에 관심을 갖고 가집을 편찬했다고 할 수 있다. 앞으로의 과제는 단독 출현과 이본 사이에 놓인 작품들과 근접 작품들에 대한 처리 문제와 본 가집의 가집 편찬사적 위치에 대한 탐색이라 할 수 있다. 이를 통해 시조 유형에 대한 정밀성에 대한 제고와 20세기 편찬 시조창본 가집들의 성격을 살피는데 기여할 수 있으리라 생각한다.
