This paper aims to study on the Sino-Baekjes of the middle or late 7th century using Data of Grandmaster Gyeongheung(憬興)’s Sinographic Phonetic Notes(SPN) appearing in Commentaries on the Sutra of Infinite Life(CSIL; 无量壽經連義述文贊) published on woodblock by Gizan Ryojo(義山良照) in 1699. For this purpose, In chapter 2, I have compared CSIL texts to the parts cited in the Xian Pure Land Real Teaching Certificate Genre(XPL; 顯淨土眞實敎行證文類), written by Grandmaster Shinran(親鸞) to verify the reliability of Gyeongheung’s SPN data. As a result, the data of CSIL were reliable, but it was judged that the critical attitude of text criticism should be maintained in every letter, especially in SPN. Subsequently, in Chapter 3, SPN data was collected and organized through a total survey by volume. As a result, compared to the previous discussions, 5 new Sinographic characters were added, and among 63 SPNs for 60 characters 59 SPNs for 56 characters were confirmed as the final SPN list. In Chapter 4, the final SPN list was divided into 45 cases of matching to Middle Chinese Phonology(MC; 中古音系) and 14 cases of non-matching to MC, and examined the characteristics of Sino-Baekje in the middle and late 7th century, which can be seen through the SPNs of Grandmaster Gyeongheung(憬興)’s. As a result, I have presented some characteristics of Sino-Baekje’s as follows: (1)Highly agreement with the MC(45/59=76.3%), (2)Partial commonality with the Wei-Chin Nan-Pei ch’ao Phonology(魏晉南北朝音), (3)Neutralization of non- rounded and rounded sounds under the labial consonants, (4)Low relevance with Old Chinese Phonology(上古音), (5)Existence of specific phonotactic constrains and withdrawal of some Jiemu(介母) sound, (6)Absence of aspirates of velar sound, and finally (7)Some similarities with Middle Sino-Korean(MSK; 中世 韓國漢字音) in initial sounds and tendency of preferring to Low Tone Characters(平聲字) etc.

본고는 釋憬興撰 ≪无量壽經連義述文贊≫(1699, 義山良照)에 나타난 음주(반절 또는 직음주)들을 자료로 7세기 중․후반대의 백제한자음을 고찰하고자 한 것이다. 이를 위하여 2장에서는 <술문찬> 자료의 신뢰성 검증을 위하여 親鸞師 친필의 ≪顯淨土眞實敎行證文類≫에 인용된 부분들에 대한 비교․검토를 행하였다. 그 결과 <술문찬> 자료는 신뢰할 만한 수준이나, 특히 음주들에서는 매 글자마다 원전 비판적 자세를 유지해야 할 것으로 판단하였다. 이어서 3장에서는 권별 전수 조사를 통하여 음주 자료의 수집하고 정리한 바 있다. 그 결과 기존 논의들에 비해 5자를 새로 추가시켜 총 60자 63개의 음주로 집계되었는데, 이 중에서 기존 논의들에서 교정된 음주들에 대한 검토 결과 ｢倚｣→｢從｣(④), ｢曄｣→｢曜｣(), ｢戾｣→｢盻｣(), ｢糾｣⟶｢紏｣()의 교정은 보류하여 최종 음주 목록으로 총 56자 59개 음주로 확정하였다. 4장에서는 최종 음주 목록을 중고음계 일치 음주 45례와 중고음계 불일치 음주 14례로 구분한 후, 경흥사의 음주들을 통해 알 수 있는 7세기 중․후반의 백제한자음의 특징들을 살펴보았다. 그 결과 ⑴중고음계와의 높은 일치도(45/59=76.3%), ⑵위진남북조음과의 부분적인 공통성, ⑶순음 하에서의 開合 中和 현상, ⑷상고음과의 낮은 관련성, ⑸특정 음소 연결제약의 존재 및 일부 介母의 미반영 현상, ⑹牙音系 유기음(/ㅋ/)의 부재 가능성, ⑺성모면에서 중세 한국한자음과의 유사성 및 평성자 선호 현상의 존재 가능성 등으로 정리하였다.
