In the face of the reality of modern education, which is overly competitive and focused on knowledge and function-oriented education, we seek to find educational content that can overcome and supplement these limitations in traditional education, especially in the theory of Yang-ming's Child education. Yang-ming emphasized basic education of children through his theory of children's education and focused on developing new creative methods while maintaining the method of human resources education. He also conducted educational activities in several ways, depending on the characteristics and circumstances of the children. Of course, the content and methods that emphasize the spontaneity of children lead to the emphasis on the quality and role of teachers as educational subjects. Childhood is the most important time for character building, and the ability of children to grow well at this time depends on the quality and role of teachers teaching and guiding them. Teachers should initially focus on the position that children are willing to study and become saint. This will provide an opportunity for modern-day children to establish academic orientation and develop internal motivation. Teachers must pursue learning that emphasizes the harmony of knowledge and practice, which despite spending a lot of time on learning, can provide a true saint through proper education to modern children who lack a sense of purpose and seriousness about themselves. In addition, educational goals and methods should be selected and conducted sequentially considering children's talents and abilities. By doing so, we can overcome the ill effects of standardized education, which is considered a problem in modern education.First of all, children's right to play can be enhanced through child-centered education that fully understands the feelings of children seeking play and freedom and makes them happy by respecting their tastes. Education contents and methods that emphasize the spontaneity and self-indulgence of children, and the quality and role of teachers in implementing them are also urgently needed in modern society's education.

지나치게 경쟁적이고 지식과 기능 위주의 교육에 치중하고 있는 현대 교육 의 현실에 직면하여 이러한 한계를 극복, 보완할 수 있는 교육내용을 전통교 육, 특히 양명의 아동교육론에서 찾고자 한다. 양명은 그의 아동교육론을 통 해 아동의 기초교육을 중시하였고, 인재시교의 방법을 유지하면서 새로운 창 의적인 교육방법을 계발하는데 주력하였다. 또한 그는 아동의 특성과 상황에 맞게 여러 가지 방식으로 교육활동을 전개하였다. 아동의 자발성과 주체성을 강조하는 교육내용과 방법은 당연히 교육주체로서의 교사의 자질과 역할에 대한 강조로 이어진다. 아동기는 인격 형성에 있어 가장 중요한 시기로써, 이 시기에 아동이 잘 성장할 수 있는 것은 가르치고 인도하는 교사의 자질과 역 할에 달려 있다 하겠다. 교사는 우선적으로 아동이 학문하여 성인이 되겠다는 뜻을 세우는 입지에 중점을 두어 교육해야 한다. 이는 현대를 살아가는 아동에게 학문적 지향점을 확립하고 내적 동기를 발현시키는 계기를 제공할 것이다. 교사는 지식과 실천의 조화를 강조하는 학습을 진행하여야 하니, 이는 많은 시간을 지식 습득에 쏟아붇고 있음에도 불구하고 교육에 대한 목표의식 부족과 자신에 대한 진지 함이 결여된 현대의 아동에게 제대로 된 교육을 통해 진정한 성인의 길을 제 시해 줄 수 있다. 또한 아동의 재능과 능력을 고려한 교육목표와 교육방법을 선택하여 순차적으로 진행하여야 한다. 이를 통해 현대교육에서 문제시되고 있는 획일화된 교육의 병폐를 극복할 수 있다. 무엇보다도 놀이와 자유를 추 구하는 아동의 심정을 충분히 이해하고 그 취향을 존중하여 마음을 기쁘게 해주는 아동 중심의 교육을 통해 아동의 놀 권리를 향상시킬 수 있다. 이러한 아동의 자발성과 주체성을 강조하는 교육내용과 방법, 이를 실행하는 교사의 자질과 역할은 현대사회의 교육에서도 절실히 요구되는 바이다.
