As job satisfaction is important in the MICE industry, measures to prevent and manage burnout, job burnout, and burnout syndrome of workers are needed. For this, it is necessary to analyze which of the numerous job stress factors have the greatest influence on burnout, and to minimize the factors first. This study aims to identify the factors that determine burnout in MICE industry workers and further investigate whether the physical and mental consequences of burn-out in MICE industry workers affect job dissatisfaction and turnover intention. Role and motivation factors were set as the independent variable for physical and mental burnout in the MICE industry, and role-factors were divided into role conflict, ambiguous role, and redundant role. Motivational factors were divided into lack of professionalism, lack of autonomy, and lack of fulfillment, and they were intended to analyze the relationship between the effects of these factors on physical and mental factors. In addition, the relationship between physical and mental burn-out of employees in the MICE industry has been verified to the effect of job dissatisfaction and intention to change jobs.

연구는 MICE 산업 종사자의 소진 결정요인과 이러한 요인을 파악하고 나아가 MICE 산업 종사자에게 나타나는 신체적, 정신적 소진이 직무불만족과 이직의도에 영향 을 미치는지를 구조적 연구를 통해 살펴보고 이를 통해 이론적, 실무적 시사점을 제시 하고자 하는 연구이다. MICE 산업 종사자에게 나타나는 신체적, 정신적 소진의 선행요인으로 역할요인과 동 기요인을 설정하였고, 역할요인은 역할갈등, 역할모호, 역할과다로 구분하였다. 동기요 인은 전문성 결여, 자율성 결여, 성취감 결여로 구분하여 이러한 요인들이 신체적, 정 신적 요인에게 미치는 영향관계를 분석하고자 하였다. 또한 MICE 산업 종사자의 신체 적, 정신적 소진이 직무불만족과 이직의도에 미치는 영향관계를 검증하였다. 연구결과, 역할요인 중 역할과다는 신체적, 정신적 소진에 모두 영향을 미치는 것으 로 나타났고, 역할모호는 신체적 소진에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 동기요인 중 전문성 결여와 성취감 결여는 정신적 소진과 영향관계가 있으며 자율성 결여는 신체적 소진에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 신체적 소진과 정신적 소진은 모두 직무불만 족과 이직의도에 영향을 미치며, 직무불만족은 이직의도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타 났다.
