As job creation is recognized as an important national issue, in-depth research is needed on what factors affect entrepreneurial intentions to revitalize entrepreneurship. This study empirically investigates how entrepreneurial competency affects entrepreneurial intentions for college students who are potential entrepreneurs. In addition, it is also reviewed whether entrepreneurial intentions are affected by the social values that look at start-up. The summary of this research is as follows. First, the entrepreneurial competencies required at the confirming stage of entrepreneurial intention has a positive (+) effect on the entrepreneurial intention. Second, the entrepreneurial competencies required at the drawing up stage of a start-up model has a positive (+) effect on the entrepreneurial intention. Third, the moderating effect of social values is confirmed between entrepreneurial intention and entrepreneurial competence at the drawing up stage of start-up model. Through this study, it is confirmed that the higher the individual's competency required for a startup, the higher the entrepreneurial intention as well as the success probability of a start-up. This suggests that it is very important that efforts to change the social perception of entrepreneurship are made together.

일자리 창출이 중요한 국가적 과제로 주목되면서 창업의 활성화를 위해서는 기업가적 의도에 영향을 주는 요인이 무엇인지에 대한 심화적인 연구가 필요하다. 본 연구의 목적은 잠재적 예비 창업자인 대학생을 대상으로 창업역량이 실제로 기업가적 의도에는 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 실 증적으로 밝히고, 창업을 바라보는 사회적 가치관에 따라 기업가적 의도에 영향력의 변화를 보 이는지도 함께 살펴보기 위함이다. 연구 결과의 요약은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 창업의지확인단계에 서 요구되는 창업역량은 기업가적 의도에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 둘째, 창업 모델구상단계에서 요구되는 창업역량은 기업가적 의도에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되 었다. 셋째, 창업모델구상단계의 창업역량과 기업가적 의도 사이에서 사회적 가치관의 조절효과 가 확인되었다. 이 연구는 창업에서 요구되는 개인의 역량이 높을수록 창업의 성공확률뿐만 아 니라 동시에 기업가적 의도를 높일 수 있으며, 이 과정에서 창업의 사회적 인식전환을 위한 교 육적 노력이 함께 이루어지는 것이 중요함을 시사하고 있다.
