The purpose of this study is to examine the factors affecting the life satisfaction of female marriage immigrants focusing on the demographic factor, family relationship factor and social support factor. More Specifically, it categorized two groups according to their willingness to acquire Korean citizenship and compared how different factors affected their life satisfaction in each group. For this purpose, it conducted frequency analysis, descriptive statistical analysis, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis using the data of 6,665 female marriage immigrants, who have not acquired Korean citizenship from the “National Multicultural Family Survey of 2018” released by(KOSIS) in 2019. Results of multiple regression showed that the marital status, subjective health, average monthly income per household, marital conflicts with spouse, satisfaction with spouse, satisfaction with parents-in-law, satisfaction with children and parenting efficacy affected life satisfaction in the female marriage immigrants who were willing to acquire Korean citizenship. However, subjective health, average monthly income per household, Korean language proficiency, marital conflicts with spouse, satisfaction with spouse, satisfaction with parents-in-law, satisfaction with children and social relationships affected the life satisfaction in the other group. Based on these findings, this study delivered several policy implications for improving the life satisfaction of female marriage immigrants in Korea.

본 연구는 여성결혼이민자의 생활만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 인구사회학적 요인, 가족관계 요인, 사회적 지지 요인을 중심으로 탐색하였다. 특히, 본 연구는 한국국적 취득희망 여부에 따라 여성결혼이민자를 두 집단 으로 분류하여 생활만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 비교, 분석하였다. 이를 위해 통계청의 ‘2018년 전국다문화 가족실태조사’ 자료의 결혼이민자 17,073명 중 한국국적을 취득하지 않은 여성결혼이민자 6,665명을 대상으로 빈도분석, 기술통계분석, 평균비교분석, 상관관계분석, 다중회귀분석 등을 실시하였다. 연구결과를 회귀모형에 따라 정리하면, 한국국적 취득을 희망하는 여성결혼이민자 집단의 경우에는 혼인상태, 주관적 건강, 월평균 소 득, 부부갈등, 배우자와의 관계, 시부모와의 관계, 자녀와의 관계, 부모역할이 이들의 생활만족도에 유의한 영향 을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 반면에, 한국국적 취득을 희망하지 않는 집단의 경우에는 주관적 건강, 월평균 소득, 한국어 능력, 부부갈등, 배우자와의 관계, 시부모와의 관계, 자녀와의 관계, 사회적 관계가 이들의 생활만 족도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 이러한 결과를 기반으로 여성결혼이민자의 생활만족 도 향상을 위한 정책적, 실천적 함의를 전달하였다.
