The hospitality industry is an industry that creates value by providing services for customer satisfaction. The Significance of Security in the hospitality industry has emerged recently as a changing scope of the hospitality industry and environments. In this overall perspective, security in the hospitality industry is also different due to the goal of the business, which requires customer satisfaction. Nevertheless, hospital security is only focused on safety. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to examine security issues and vulnerabilities in the hospitality industry and to suggest thereby the requirements of solving the security problem. This discussion draws on literature and the working groups. A review of validity through a focus group interview shown that security issues were all valid and that there were a total of seven to five possible vulnerabilities. And the security requirements based on the above conclusions. This paper is academically meaningful in that it expanded the scope of security in the hospitality industry. And the present study was the first to draw for security issues and vulnerabilities. This article, therefore, provides a stepping stone for developing an account of hospitality security in Korea.

호스피탈리티 산업은 고객 만족을 위한 서비스를 제공하여 가치를 창출하는 산업이다. 호스피탈리티 산업의 범위가 복합적으로 늘어나며 변화하는 환경에 대응하기 위해 보안의 필요성이 높아지고 있다. 다른 어떤 산업부문보다 고객 만족을 최우선 목표로 삼아야 하는 비즈니스 특성으로 인해 보안에 대한 접근 역시 다를 수밖에 없다. 그럼에도 불구하고 호 스피탈리티 보안은 안전에만 치우쳐져 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는, 호스피탈리티 산업 내 체계적인 보안을 위해 호스피탈리티 산업에서 보안의 이슈와 취약성을 도출하고 이의 타 당성 검증 후 요구사항을 제시했다. 포커스 그룹 인터뷰를 통한 타당성 검토 결과 보안 이슈는 모두 타당하며, 취약점은 총 7가지에서 5가지가 타당하다는 결론을 얻었다. 앞서 도출한 취약점 항목과 포커스 그룹 인터뷰 토론 내용을 바탕으로 보안 교육, 산업 내 직장폭력에 대한 대응, 호스피탈리티 보 안 감사, 물리적 보안환경 설계, 호스피탈리티 보안 협의체 구성이라는 요구사항을 제시하 여 보안체계를 개선하고자 했다. 본 연구는 호스피탈리티 보안을 자산보호 및 손실방지라는 산업보안의 광의적 관점으로 바라보며 기존의 안전에만 유의했던 호스피탈리티 보안의 영역을 넓힌 것에 학문적 의의 를 두고 있다. 또한, 학문적 연구가 미흡했던 호스피탈리티 보안에 대한 보안 이슈와 취약 점을 도출했다는 것에 의미를 가진다. 본 연구는 추후에 다른 호스피탈리티 보안 연구를 진행할 시 그 초석이 되리라 판단된다.
