The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between college students' family strength, social support, and career decision-making difficulty, and to verify whether social support mediates the relationship between family strength and career decision-making difficulty. A correlation analysis was performed, grounding on the measured data; The mediation effects were verified using SPSS PROCESS macro v. 3. 5. The following presents the results of this study. First, there was a statistically significant negative correlation between family strength and career decision-making difficulty. There were a significant positive correlation between family strength and social support; a significant negative correlation between social support and career decision-making difficulty. Second, regarding the relationship between family strength and career decision-making difficulty perceived by college students, social support has a complete mediation effect; emotional support was the only factor with complete mediation effect among the sub-factors of social support. In light of the abovementioned results, confirming the importance of social support and emotional support to career decision-making difficulty was possible.

본 연구는 대학생의 가족건강성, 사회적 지지, 진로결정 어려움의 관계를 살펴보고, 가족 건강성과 진로결정 어려움의 관계에서 사회적 지지가 매개하는지 확인하는 목적으로 하였다. 측정된 자료를 바탕으로 상관분석을 실시하였고, SPSS PROCESS macro v.3.5를 활용하여 매개 효과를 검증하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 가족건강성과 진로결정 어려움은 유 의미한 부적상관이 나타났다. 가족건강성과 사회적 지지는 유의미한 정적상관이 나타났으며, 사회적 지지와 진로결정 어려움은 유의미한 부적상관이 나타났다. 둘째, 대학생이 지각한 가족 건강성과 진로결정 어려움의 관계에서 사회적 지지는 완전매개효과가 나타났으며, 사회적 지지 의 하위요인 중에 정서적 지지만이 완전매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 통해 진로결정 어려움에 사회적 지지와 정서적 지지의 중요성을 확인할 수 있었다.
