China has a vast territory, and the cultures in the South and the North are very different. As an important part of Chinese culture - diet, There is something in common between the North and the South, and there are also big differences. The commonality between the North and South food culture lies in the traditional Chinese philosophy. Philosophy of "Yin Yang and Five Elements", philosophy of "the Integrity of Man and Nature", philosophy of "Beauty of Neutralization and Harmony", philosophy of "Dietary Therapy"etc. The difference lies in"south rice and north flour","south sweet and north salty", different cooking methods and eating methods, and different wine culture and tea culture. Then this article explores the natural environmental causes and human environmental causes of dietary differences between the North and the South. Finally, For various reasons, the difference between the North and South diets is gradually decreasing. North and South food culture blends with each other, but each region maintains its own characteristics, China’s North and South food culture will always maintain a balance between collision and blending, and has continued and developed.

中国地域辽阔, 南北方文化差异很大, 作为中国文化的一个重要组成部分--饮 食, 南北方之间存在着共同之处, 也有着天壤之别。 南北饮食文化的共同点就在于饮食中蕴含的中国传统文化哲学。"阴阳五行" 的哲学思想、"天人合一"的哲学思想、"中和为美"的哲学思想、"以食疗病"的哲 学思想等。 差异在于 “南米北面”、 “南甜北咸”、烹调方式、饮食方式的不同以及不同 的酒文化和茶文化。 在此基础上, 探讨了产生南北方饮食差异的自然环境原因和人文环境原因。 最后提出, 由于种种原因, 南北饮食差异正在逐渐减小。 南北饮食文化相互交融, 但每一个地区都保持着各自的特点, 中国的南北饮 食文化将一直在碰撞与交融中保持平衡并一直延续和发展。
