The MeToo case to Ahn Hee-Jung has been understood as a political issue and a gender issue because he was considered a symbol of one of the ruling party's next influential presidential candidates. Therefore, in this study, we focused on whether there are differences in the use of news sources between progressive and conservative newspapers and between male and female reporters. Through this analysis, we tried to clarify the characteristics of news reports related to the Ahn Hee-Jung MeToo case. We found that there was no significant difference in the use of news sources according to the partisanship of the newspaper or the gender of the reporter. In other words, the appearances of news sources from Ahn Hee-Jung's side, Kim Ji-Eun's side, political parties/politicians, and women's organizations were not characterized by partisanship and reporter gender. The Hankyoreh and Kyunghyang Shinmun, who can be favorable for the current Moon Jae-In government and the ruling party, did not favor pro-ruling party news sources. On the contrary, the Chosun-Ilbo and Dong-A-Ilbo did not utilize more pro-oppositional sources. In the gender of the reporter, there was no evidence that female reporters used more Kim Ji-Eun's side news sources. Other news sources excluding women's organizations could not categorize by partisanship and reporter gender. Only women's organizations were found to be somewhat higher than those of the Chosun-Ilbo and Dong-A-Ilbo in the Hankyoreh and Kyunghyang Shinmun, but there was no significant difference by reporter gender. Overall, we found that news sources used in news reports related to the Ahn Hee-Jung MeToo case were not influenced by the partisanship or reporter gender. The news report was dominated by sensationalism rather than political or gender issues.

언론에서 미투 사건은 대부분 젠더이슈적 성격을 갖는다. 안희정 전 충남지 사의 경우는 여당의 유력 대선주자라는 상징성으로 말미암아 정치이슈와 젠더 이슈로 다루어져 왔다. 이에 본 연구에서는 진보와 보수신문 간, 남녀 취재기 자 간의 정보원 활용에서 어떠한 차이가 나타나는지 살펴보았다. 이를 통해 안 희정 미투 사건 보도의 특징을 규명하고자 하였다. 분석결과, 정보원 활용에 있어 신문의 정파성이나 취재기자의 성별에 따라 유의미한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 즉, 안희정 우호 정보원, 김지은 우호 정보 원, 정당･정치인, 여성단체 등의 정보원 등장이 정파성과 취재기자 성별에 의 해 뚜렷하게 특정되지 않았다. 문재인 정부와 여당을 지지한다 할 수 있는 <한 겨레>와 <경향신문>에서 친 여당적 정보원에 가까운 인물들이 더 많이 등장하 거나 그 반대로 <조선일보>와 <동아일보>에서 친 야당적 정보원이 더 많이 등 장하지도 않았다. 이는 매체 성격에 따른 정보원 활용에 차이가 나타나지 않았 음을 가리킨다. 취재기자의 성별에서도 여기자들이 김지은 우호 정보원이라 할 수 있는 인물들을 남기자들에 비하여 더 활용했다는 증거 또한 특정할 만큼 나타나지 않았다. 다만, 진보신문에서 여성단체가 정보원으로 활용되는 경우 가 다소 높게 나타났다. 여기에서도 취재기자 성별에 따른 유의미한 차이는 찾 을 수 없었다. 종합적으로 안희정 미투 사건 보도는 정보원 활용에 있어서 신문사의 정파성이나 취재기자의 성별의 차이를 넘어서는 다른 요인이 있음을 확인하였다. 달리 말하면 이번 이슈는 정치이슈나 젠더이슈로 다루어지기보다는 선정성이 , 지배한 보도였다는 점이다
