This study analyzes research trend of 33 dissertations and 18 KCI registered journals, total of 51, related color psychology from 2000 to 2020 in Korea. This study suggests more systemic and effective ways of color psychology. The analysis looks for a trend by classifying them into year, objects, topic, methods. And the research methods were analysis standard and reported descriptive statistics by percentile. The results are as follow. First, case studies related to color psychology are continuously being studied, but the number of research publications has not increased since 2014. Second, for study subject, children were the most preferred group, and with regard to the size of experimental groups, the size of 5-10 participants were the most frequent. Third, for topics of research, mental health recovery, self-growth were the most discussed ones. As for the program, art therapy papers using colors were the most. Fourth, integrated research method was the most frequently adopted, and experimental/control groups design were the most preferred. The most frequent sessions per week were once a week, and 51-60 minutes per session was the most. The analysis of study topics and objects, extends of research methods of experiment studies related to color psychology are now expected in the future research.

본 연구는 2000년부터 2020년까지 국내에서 발표된 색채심리 관련 실험연구 학위 논문 33 편, KCI 등재지 18편, 총 51편의 연구동향을 분석하였다. 이를 통해 더욱 효과적이고 체계적인 색채심리 연구의 방향성을 제시하고자 한다. 분석은 연구시기 동향, 연구대상 동향, 연구주제 동향, 연구방법 동향으로 나누었으며 기술통계를 이용하여 백분율과 빈도를 분석하였다. 그 결 과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 색채심리 관련 실험연구는 지속적으로 연구가 진행되고 있으나 2014 년 이후에는 연구 발표수가 증가하지 않았다. 둘째, 연구대상은 아동이 가장 많았으며, 실험집 단원 수는 5∼10명이 가장 많았다. 셋째, 연구내용은 심리건강 회복이 가장 많았으며 자아성장 순으로 나타났다. 프로그램은 색채를 활용한 미술치료 논문이 가장 많았다. 넷째, 연구방법은 통합적 연구가 많았으며 연구설계는 실험･통제집단이 가장 많이 사용된 것으로 나타났다. 주당 회기는 주 1회가 많았으며 회기 당 시간은 51∼60분이 가장 많은 것으로 나타났다. 앞으로 색 채심리 관련 실험연구의 연구대상, 연구주제 및 연구방법이 확대되기를 기대해 본다.
