If Übermensch is a transcendental being as distinct from a human as per Nietzsche then the supreme type of man would be a great artist. This essay analyses on who would be the great artist by the art of great artist’s life, and discloses the reason and the basis of that art proceeding forward to philosophy by the traits of the great art. For Nietzsche, a great artist is not just an utmost superior man who can reach to the highest possible through artistic activities but is also a being who can leads to the event of the times where as a human being can exceed the period by the greatness. A great artist takes his position at the inflection point of the Möbius strip of Art and Philosophy that shows the process of conversions: art into philosophy, and philosophy into art. Therefore the great artist according to Nietzsche is the artist-philosopher, and an artist who consummates the art of his own life which goes beyond the times, creating new value on the formation of relationship with the world from one s own point of view.
