The present study aims to examine the Influence of Wajishoransho and Kogentei on Wajibenran. Since Wajibenran is written in historical Kana orthography, it can be expected that it would be influenced by these two materials. After the publication of Kogentei, which greatly influenced the widespread use of historical Kana orthography, several notes based on the historical Kana orthography began to be published. Wajibenran was the first published material after Kogentei, and above all, it is the first material which shows how Kogentei influenced the subsequent materials. Wajibenran consists of three parts. The first section contains words written in historical Kana orthography, most of which were in Wajishoransho and Kogentei. The composition of the words seemed to have been influenced more by Wajishoransho. Although, the contents of Wajishoransho were not quoted as it was, some of them were modified to match Kogentei. The second section lists Manyogana. These was taken from Kogentei. The third section contains the Kana orthography which the author thinks is wrong. There is a study which showed that this part was referred to in Wajishoransho and Wajishoranyoryaku. However, results of a survey showed that there were some parts which did not match with the contents of the two materials and the contents that were not visible.

본고는 安永5(1776)년에 성립한 『和字便覧』에 대해 다루고 있다. 이 자료는 역사 적 가나 표기법 계통의 가나 표기법서로 『和字正濫鈔』와 『古言梯』의 영향을 받았을 것이라 예상된다. 본고는 이에 주목하여 『和字便覧』에 보이는 『和字正濫鈔』와 『古言梯』의 영향에 대해 분석했다. 역사적 가나 표기법의 보급에 큰 영향을 끼친 『古言梯』 이후로 역사적 가나 표기 법에 입각한 가나 표기법서가 다수 출판되기 시작했다. 『和字便覧』은 그 중 가장 먼 저 출판된 자료로, 무엇보다 『古言梯』가 이후 자료에 어떤 영향을 끼쳤는지 가장 먼 저 알 수 있는 자료라 할 수 있다. 『和字便覧』은 仮名遣語例集, 古ノ仮字ニ用ナレタル文字, 古ニ違ヘル仮字로 구성되 어 있다. 이 중 仮名遣語例集 부분에는 역사적 가나 표기법으로 쓰인 단어들이 실려 있는데, 수록된 단어는 대부분 『和字正濫鈔』와 『古言梯』에도 있었다. 단어들의 구성 으로 볼 때 『和字正濫鈔』의 영향을 더 크게 받은 것으로 보였다. 하지만 『和字正濫鈔』의 내용을 그대로 인용하지 않았고, 일부는 『古言梯』에 맞춰 수정되어 있었다. 古ノ仮字ニ用ナレタル文字 부분은 만요가나가 나열되어 있다. 이는 『古言梯』에서 발췌해온 것이었다. 古ニ違ヘル仮字 부분은 저자가 잘못되었다고 생각하는 가나 표 기가 실려 있다. 이 부분은 『和字正濫鈔』와 『和字正濫要略』을 참고했다는 연구 결과 가 있으나, 조사해 본 결과, 두 자료의 내용과 일치하지 않는 부분이 있었고 두 자 료에 보이지 않는 내용도 포함되어 있었다.
