The article deals with the history of medicine in Turkestan in the late of 19th and early 20th centuries in the context of traditions and innovations in the provision of medical care to Muslim women in the region. By using the example of data relating to three regions of the Turkestan General Governorship - Samarkand, Syrdarya and Fergana, the author analyzes the use of traditional medicine methods, as well as innovations that have appeared in the provision of medical care. The issues of activity of outpatient clinics, created for local women of the region, their financial situation and problems of their activity are considered separately. Along with this, the article discusses issues related to the provision of inpatient care to the population, the private medical practice of Russian doctors and the attitude of the local population towards Russian doctors.

본고는 지역의 무슬림 여성에게 의료 서비스를 제공하는 전통과 혁신의 맥락 에서 19 세기 말과 20 세기 초 투르키스탄의 의학 역사를 다루었다. 투르키스탄 총독의 세 지역 인 사마르칸트(Samarkand), 시르다랴(Syrdarya) 및 페르가나 (Fergana)와 관련된 데이터의 예를 사용하여 저자는 전통 의학 방법의 사용과 의 료 서비스 제공에 나타난 혁신을 분석하였다. 지역 여성을 위해 만들어진 외래 진료소의 활동 문제, 재정 상황 및 활동 문제는 별도로 다룰 계획이다. 이와 함께 본고에서 필자는 입원 치료, 러시아 의사의 개인 의료 행위 및 러시아 의사에 대 한 현지 인구의 태도와 관련된 문제 등을 고찰하였다.
