This study proposes and tests a model to investigate positive/negative factors affecting Chinese’s intention to use healthcare app. This model includes not only TAM II model factors (subjective norm, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and intention to use healthcare app), but also obstacle factors (privacy and cost concern) and individual factors (individual innovativeness, smartphone self-efficacy, e-health literacy). Also, this study investigates generation differences for the study model. Data were collected through Chinese online survey company using a quota sampling by residential location, gender, and age. The study sample consisted of 303 Chinese adults who are currently using smartphone. The results showed that subjective norm positively affected intention to use healthcare app directly and indirectly through perceived usefulness. Perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use were found to affect positively intention to use healthcare app. It was found that privacy and cost concern did not affect perceived usefulness. However, individual factors of individual innovativeness, smartphone self-efficacy, e-health literacy were found to affect positively intention to use healthcare app. For the 20-30’s, the results were consistent with the study model except privacy concern negatively affected perceived usefulness. For the 40-60’s, it was found that privacy concern and individual innovativeness directly, smartphone self-efficacy indirectly affected intention to use healthcare app. For them, e-health literacy had no effect on intention to use healthcare app. Based on the results, implications for healthcare app and future research were discussed.

본 연구는 중국인을 대상으로 헬스케어 앱 이용에 긍정적/부정적 영향을 주는 요인 을 찾는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 구체적으로 TAM II 모델 요인(주관적 규범, 지각된 유 용성, 지각된 용이성, 헬스케어 앱 이용의도)에 프라이버시 염려와 지각된 비용의 장애 요인과 개인 혁신성, 스마트폰 자기효능감, e-헬스 리터러시의 개인적 특성 요인을 첨 가한 연구모델을 제시하였다. 또한, 디지털 기술에 익숙한 20-30대 청년층과 디지털 기 술에 상대적으로 덜 익숙한 40-60대 중장년층에게 있어 헬스케어 앱 이용 장애요인과 개인적 특성요인에 어떤 차이가 있는지, 그리고 선행요인들과 TAM II 기본요인들과의 관계성에 있어 두 그룹이 어떤 차이를 보이는지 조사하였다. 본 연구의 데이터는 중국 설문조사기관을 통해 만 20세 이상 현재 스마트폰을 사용하고 있는 성인 남녀를 대상으 로 거주지, 성별, 나이를 바탕으로 할당 표집하였고 총 303명을 연구대상으로 선정하였 다. 연구결과, 주관적 규범은 헬스케어 앱 이용의도에 직간접적으로 영향을 주었고, 지 각된 유용성과 지각된 용이성도 헬스케어 앱 이용 의도에 긍정적인 영향을 주었다. 헬 스 케어 앱에 대한 프라이버시 염려와 지각된 비용은 지각된 유용성에 영향을 주지 않 았고, 개인 혁신성, 스마트폰 자기효능감, e-헬스 리터러시는 헬스케어 앱에 대한 지각 된 유용성과 지각된 용이성에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 세대 간 차이에 있어 청년층의 경우에는 프라이버시 염려가 지각된 유용성에 부정적인 영향을 미치는 것을 제외하고는 원모델 결과와 일치하였다. 중장년층의 경우에는 헬스케어 앱 이용의도에 프라이버시 염려와 개인혁신성이 직접적으로, 스마트폰 자기효능감은 간적접으로 영향을 주었고 e-헬스리터러시는 영향을 주지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 연구결과를 바 탕으로 헬스케어 앱 이용에 대한 함의 및 후속연구의 방향을 제시하였다.
