Death and resurrection are the core doctrines of Christianity and the basis of the message that makes the Gospel a true Gospel. However, we may be thinking about death and resurrection very easily, living in a society where life is ignored. Nevertheless, the news of suicide and unfair death from the newspapers and the sadness of the death of the family members around us, make us pay attention to the resurrection faith and let us attempt theological redefinition. This study is an attempt to answer these kinds of spiritual questions (the life and resurrection) in our lives through Karl Barth's Reformed Theology, and apply Barth’s understanding of the resurrection to healing counseling education, life education, and education for seniors for the contextual Christian education fields. The structure of the study is as follows: In chapter I, as an introduction, I explain the reason why I deal with Karl Barth’s understanding of the resurrection in theology. In chapter II, I explore the needs of faith of the life and resurrection in today’s society. In chapter III, as the chapter that deals with Barth’s understanding of the resurrection in his theology, I deal with the location of the understanding the resurrection in Barth’s theology, others’ misunderstanding of Barth’s view of the resurrection and its fact, and the characteristics of Barth’s understanding of the resurrection in more detail. In chapter V, dealing with a practical theological application, I find the Christian educational application points of Barth’s understanding of the resurrection for the church educational fields. Concluding this, chapter V deals with the meaning, limitation, and suggestion for the further more steps of the study.

죽음과 부활은 기독교의 핵심적인 교리주제이며 복음이 진정한 복음이 되게 하는 메시지의 근간이다. 그러나 오늘날 생명을 경시여기는 풍조의 사회를 살아가는 우리 는 너무도 안일하게 죽음과 부활을 대하고 있는지도 모른다. 하지만, 신문지상을 통해 들려오는 자살과 억울한 죽음의 소식들, 또한 주위 가족과의 사별의 슬픔은 우리에게 다시 한 번 이 부활의 신앙을 주목하고 신학적 재정립을 시도하게 한다. 이 연구는 이러한 생명과 부활과 같은 우리 삶의 영적인 질문들에 칼 바르트의 개혁주의 신학으 로 답하며, 기독교교육의 상황적 실천을 위해, 바르트의 부활의 이해를 치유적 상담교 육, 생명교육, 노년교육으로 적용시켜 보고자 한 시도이다. 본고는 다음과 같은 구성을 가진다. 서론인 I 장에서는 왜 오늘날 바르트신학의 부 활의 이해를 다루는지 그 이유를 설명한다. 그리고 II 장에서는 오늘날의 교회현장에 서의 생명과 부활신앙의 요구들을 살펴본다. 본론격인 III 장에서는 칼 바르트의 부활 의 이해를 다루는데, 보다 구체적으로 칼 바르트의 신학에 있어서 부활의 이해의 위 치와, 그의 부활의 이해에 대한 오해와 진실들, 그리고, 그의 부활의 이해의 특징들을 다룬다. 실천 신학적 적용을 다룬 IV 장에서는 교회교육현장을 위한 바르트의 부활의 이해의 기독교 교육적 적용점을 찾고, V 장 결론에서는 연구의 의의와 한계, 나아갈 바들을 다루고 있다.
