Nowadays, the multimedia contents industry has increasingly been developing due to the demands or our life through the rapid advancement of digital resources and network technologies. Accordingly, the DRM which is the representative right protection technology of the digital contents became very important. However, the media types and application fields of the digital contents arc so various that the respective organization proposes their own DRM technologies. As a result, the mutual compatibility of DRM technologies is poor or not proper. Therefore, this paper analyzes those problems and suggests some support methods by comparing the performance of the internetworking technologies among DRMs in terms of mobile learning multimedia contents which are suited for ubiquitous computing environments.

본 연구는 최근 모바일 자원 및 IT 기술의 급속한 발전으로 우리 산업에서 콘텐츠 산업이 점점 발전하고 있으며 이에 따른 대표적인 디지털 콘텐츠의 저작권 보호 기술 DRM이 중요시 되고 있 다. 그러나 디지털 멀티미디어 콘텐츠의 미디어적 형태와 적용 가능한 분야가 다양하기 때문에 각 단체들이 각자의 DRM 기술을 제시하고 있어 이로 인해 DRM 시스템 간의 호환성이 낮아진다. 본 연구는 최근 이슈화 되는 효과적으로 학습을 도모할 수 있는 유비쿼터스 환경에 적합한 방식인 모바일 전자 학습용 멀티미디어 콘텐츠 분야에서 상이한 DRM 기술들 간의 상호 연동 기술들의 성능을 비교하여 문제점을 분석하고 호환성 지원방법을 제시한다.
