This thesis aims to review the role and future tasks for Rousseau's naturalistic view of education in the field of unification of education. The conclusions of this study as follows: First, it is thought that Rousseau's nature has three meanings, which are nature as man's nature, nature as developmental stage and nature as an opposing sense of society. The nature as stated above is closely related to freedom. Rousseau's freedom is divided into natural freedom and social freedom and then moral freedom. Rousseau's naturalistic education is composed of negative education and positive education. Second, The aims of naturalistic unification education is to develop an naturalistic man in the society as an ideal man. Third, In this view, It is important to examine how unification education are related in negative education and positive education, human education and unification education, nature education and civil education to specify the meaning of nature and freedom in Rousseau's educational theory. Positive education in naturalistic unification education is the education for developing not only rational power and moral sense but also patriotism and nationalism since the beginning of adolescence.

1990년대부터 급격하게 증가하기 시작한 북한이탈주민들은 시간이 지나면서 정착과 정에도 변화를 가져왔다. 2000년대 중반 이후부터는 한국사회에 먼저 정착한 북한 이 탈주민이 북한에 남아 있는 가족과 형제를 한국에 데려오는 가족단위의 탈북이 증가 하고 있고, 중국이나 제3국에서의 체류 경험이 없이 바로 한국으로 입국하는 사람의 비율도 늘고 있다. 이에 따라 탈북청소년의 수가 늘어나게 되면서 한국 사회적응 과 정에서 학교 부적응 현상을 보이며 중도 탈락하는 비율이 남한 학생과 비교할 때 많 은 차이를 보이고 있으며, 이들의 일탈 행위가 새로운 사회문제가 되고 있다. 이들에 게 적절한 지원책과 교육이 병행되다면 한국사회에 잘 적응할 수 있을 것이다. 그러나 첫째, 한국 친구들의 차별적 시선에 상처를 입어 학교생활의 적응과정에 있어 어려움을 겪고 있다. 둘째, 탈북청소년의 특성을 제대로 이해하지 못하고 편견 과 이중적 잣대로 바라보며 폄하하는 한국사회의 태도이다. 섯째, 탈북청소년의 상 당수는 교과서의 용어나 내용을 이해하지 못하고 학업 성취도에서도 부진을 면치 못하고 있다. 넷째, 경제적 어려움의 문제이다. 이러한 문제점을 인식하고 국내에 정착한 탈북청소년들의 한국 사회적응을 위해 하나둘학교 뿐 아니라 정부는 하나원을 비롯한 초기 교육기관의 역할 보완을 통해 탈북청소년들의 특성을 고려한 교육이 이루어질 수 있도록 해야 하고, 그들이 다니 는 학교를 중심으로 탈북청소년의 이해 교육 환경과 프로그램 개발이 이루어져야 한다. 또한, 탈북청소년들의 한국사회 내의 부적응을 극복하기 위해서는 그들에 대 한 한국사회의 의식 변화와 정부의 역할을 지원할 수 있는 민간단체의 참여도 함께 이루어져야 한다.
