The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of spiritual education for spiritual care competence reinforcement of nursing students. 83 subjects of nursing students were participated in two universities located in J city(from February 27 to May 19, 2017) and composed of 42 in the experimental group and 41 in the control group. The spiritual education was composed of three sections; self-awareness, spirituality, and spiritual dimension in nursing. This program was then implemented on the subjects for a total of 10 sessions with each session lasting 120 minutes and given 2 times a week for 5 weeks. The data collected were analyzed for descriptive statistics, χ²-test, Independent t-test and Repeated ANOVA. This spiritual education increased the spirituality, ego-identity, spiritual well-being, satisfaction with life, and spiritual care competence of the nursing students. The effectiveness of the spiritual education also maintained in five weeks after intervention. It is therefore proposed that this education be utilized for the nursing students as basic standardization process of a spiritual nursing care.

본 연구에서는 간호대학생의 영적간호역량 강화를 위한 영성교육의 효과를 확인하였다. 2017년 2월 27일부터 5월 19일까지 J시 소재 간호대학생 83명이 연구에 참여하여 실험군 42명과 대조군 41명으로 무작위 배정되었다. 영성 교육은 자기 인식과 영성 및 간호의 영적 차원으로 구성되어 1회에 120분씩, 5주 동안 총 10회기로 진행되었다. 수집된 자료는 대상자의 일반적 특성과 종속변수에 대한 동질성 검증을 확인하였고 가설 검증은 χ²-test, Independent t-test, paired t-test로 분석하였고, 시간 경과에 따른 변수의 변화는 실험군의 반복측정 분산분석으로 확인하였다. 영성교육 은 간호대학생의 영성과 자아정체감, 영적 안녕과 삶의 만족도 및 영적간호역량을 높이는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 영성교 육을 시행하고 5주 후에도 효과가 지속적으로 유지되었다. 이에 영적간호역량 강화를 위한 영성교육은 전인간호를 위한 영적 간호교육 과정에 긍정적인 영향을 미치며 활성화를 위한 실증적인 기초자료가 될 것이다.
