In 1763, the 11th journey of the Joseon Tongsinsa was the last one to include the journey to Busan and Osaka, and was the largest record of the UNESCO World Recorded Cultural Heritage. In 1763, the journey to the sea took about three and a half months. It was because they spent a long time at the port due to bad weather and poor ship construction. Based on the records of the Gyemisahaengrok in 1763, this paper classified three major maritime accidents that occurred on the royal road of the maritime Journey from Busan to Osaka, and examined the outline of the incident and the causes of it. The major maritime accident at the time was first the brokes of the second ship(Ikisun) twice and the death of Yu Jin-bok, the captain of the ship(Iboksun). The second was the brokes of the first ship(Ilkisun) and the third was inundated, so urgent that it had to be replaced by a ship provided by Japan. The causes of these accidents were problems with the shipbuilding system and the smuggling of wood for this ship, and the Japanese side considered violations of the regulations on tugboats. It would be meaningful in that this paper considered maritime accidents with all the records on the journey of the Korean genealogical records.
