This article analyzed academic management cases after the outbreak of COVID-19 focusing on cases of traditional Korean music departments among various art departments to present base material for the improvement of future class management. For this, general analysis was conducted on government policy changes after the outbreak of COVID-19 and on corresponding academic management and class management cases of traditional Korean music departments of 3 universities located in the metropolitan area. Analysis conducted on academic management and class management cases of traditional Korean music departments of 3 universities showed that the traditional Korean music departments of each university adopted diverse class management methods to combine untact and face-to-face classes. While the traditional Korean music departments of the 3 universities were identical in that they managed both untact and face-to-face classes, they also showed differences in their respective points of management focus. The traditional Korean music department of A University recommended the combined management of numerous class methods for the efficient management of untact classes and it placed focus on untact class management. The traditional Korean music department of B University placed focus on the adoption of an external system for the infrastructure establishment of untact class management. The traditional Korean music department of C University actively managed the phased implementation of face-to-face classes and managed classes with more weight placed on face-to-face classes. Consequentially, each element managed by the traditional Korean music departments of the 3 universities according to the conditions of each school with focus is significant in that it presents direction for focused improvements in the future class management of traditional Korean music departments. For practice-oriented art departments including traditional Korean music departments to adapt to class environments that have changed after the outbreak of COVID-19, first, untact class methods that are suited for art departments must be developed and improved, and second, systems that can smoothly support untact class management must be established. Third, face-to-face class management methods that can supplement practice classes combined with untact classes must be developed.

본고는 예술계열 학과 중 국악과의 사례를 중심으로 코로나19 사태 이후 학사운영의 사례를 분석하여 향후 수업운영의 개선을 위한 기초자료로 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 코로나19 사태 이후 정부의 정책변화와 그에 따른 수도권 소재 3개 대학 국악과의 학사운영 및 수업운영 사례를 전반적으로 분석하였다. 3개 대학 국악과의 학사운영 및 수업운영 사례를 분석한 결과 각 대학 국악과는 비대면수업과 대면수업을 병행하여 운영하기 위하여 다양한 수업운영 방식을 도입하였음을 확인할 수 있었다. 3개 대학 국악과가 비대면 수업과 대면수업을 병행하여 운영한다는 점에서는 동일하였으나 각 대학별로 중점을 두어 운영하는 부분에서 차이를 보였다. A대학 국악과의 경우 비대면 수업의 효율적 운영을 위해 복수의 비대면 수업방식을 함께 운용하는 것을 권장하였으며 비대면 수업 운영에 중점을 두었다. B대학 국악과는 비대면 수업의 운영을 위한 인프라 구축을 위해 외부시스 템 도입에 중점을 두었다. C대학 국악과는 다른 대학에 비하여 대면수업의 단계적 시행을 적극적 으로 운영하여 대면수업에 비중을 두어 수업을 운영하였다. 결과적으로 3개 대학 국악과가 각 학교의 여건에 맞추어 진행한 수업운영의 사례는 향후 국악과의 수업운영이 중점적으로 개선해야 할 방향을 제시해 준다는 점에서 의미를 가진다. 향후 국악과를 포함한 실기위주의 예술계열 학과 가 코로나19 사태 이후 변화된 수업환경에 적응하기 위해서는 첫째, 예술계열 학과에 적합한 비대면 수업 방식의 개발 및 개선이 필요하며, 둘째, 비대면 수업운영을 원활하게 지원할 수 있는 시스템의 구축이 필요하다. 셋째, 비대면 수업과 병행하여 실습수업을 보완해 줄 대면 수업 운영방 식의 개발이 필요하다.
