PURPOSE : The purpose of this study is to check the degree of depression of people at present as leisure activities are restricted due to corona 19 and to confirm the change of psychological state through depression, social adaptation, leisure and life satisfaction caused by leisure activities by utilizing the depression statistics before and after social issues occurred in the past. METHOD : I referred to the leisure activity questionnaire used in the 'National Leisure Activity Survey'. The CES-D questionnaire was used as a depression questionnaire. Various prior studies are collected, arranged and compared by reference to RISS, NDSL. RESULTS: 1. After covid-19 the types of leisure activities were the highest in "rest activities" (86.5%) and the lowest in "cultural and artistic participation activities" were the lowest. 2. In the case of leisure activities after the covid-19 period, 'Internet Search' (86.1%) was the highest, and 'bath' (17.5%) was the lowest. 3. After covid-19 the frequency of leisure activities was the highest 'several times a week' (48.2%) and 'once a month' (0.3%). 4. After covid-19 the weekday leisure time was the highest at "3-5 hours" (49.2%) and "more than 9 hours" (1.0%) was the lowest. 5. After the covid-19 weekend leisure time, "five to seven hours" (44.2%) was the highest, and "more than nine hours" (6.9%) was the lowest. 6. After covid-19 the purpose of leisure activities was the highest (40.3%) and the lowest (1.3%) was 'for self-improvement'. 7. After covid-19 the satisfaction level of leisure activities was the highest with 'satisfaction' (39.6%), and 'very dissatisfied' (2.6%). 8. The reason for dissatisfaction with leisure activities after covid-19 was 'covid-19' (73.3%), and 'lack of previous experience' (2.3%). 9. After covid-19 the perception of leisure activities was the highest: 'very so' (52.1%), and 'not at all' (0.3%). 10. The impact of leisure activities after the covid-19 was the highest, with 49.5 percent, and the lowest, 'not.' (0.7 percent). 11. After covid-19 the level of happiness was the highest at 5-7 points (41.6%) and the lowest at "less than 3 points" (6.6%). 12. Comparison of pre- and post-covid-19 depression decreased from 34.13 to 21.61. CONCLUSION : Due to COVID-19, there have been considerable changes in leisure activities and psychological conditions in the twenties. Among them, the reason for dissatisfaction with leisure life is that COVID-19 had a great impact on people's changes in the types of leisure activities, from a lack of time (48.7 percent) in the previous year to an environmental factor (73.3 percent) this year. The reason for the overall decline in happiness is also judged to be due to the lack of quality and diversity of leisure activities under COVID-19. Due to social distinctions, the independent activities that can be performed outdoors, "walking" has increased significantly, and "to relieve stress" has also increased significantly for the purpose of leisure activities. The reason for the lower score of depression is that COVID-19 greatly reduces the stress of college students due to non-face-to-face classes and school closures.
