This study is to present an action plan for strengthening the employment capacity of marriage immigrants by an analysis of various employment support service provided by the Multicultural Family Support Center. First, through the analysis of the employment support service, it was confirmed that there is a high demand for programs that can lead from basic employment training to employment programs customized to user, and post-employment service programs. Second, with the increase of multicultural families, government support has been expanding every year, but the absence of a control tower of multicultural support policies has led to the difference in the quality level and the blind spots of policy. In particular, despite of the increasing capacity of multicultural families, the level of multicultural support policy remained in the initial settlement, Korean language education, and job placement in the secondary and tertiary industries. Since multicultural families is become necessary human resources of our society, we suggested integrating similar multicultural families policies, reorganization of the promotion system, customized support through segmentation of multicultural population.

본 연구는 다문화가족지원센터에서 제공하고 있는 다양한 취업지원서비스 실태분석과 다문화가족지원센터의 환 경분석을 통해 결혼이민자 취업 역량 강화를 위한 실행방안을 제시하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 첫째, 다문화가족지 원센터의 취업지원서비스 분석을 통해 취업기초소양교육 이후 취업까지 단계별로 이어질 수 있는 프로그램, 이 용자 특성에 맞는 프로그램, 취업이후 사후서비스 프로그램의 수요도가 높다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 둘째, 다 문화가족지원센터의 환경분석을 통해서는 우리사회의 다문화가족 증가에 따른 정부의 양적/질적 지원수준이 매 년 확대되고 있었으나, 여전히 다문화지원정책을 총괄하는 컨트롤타워의 부재로 인하여 지역간 다문화정책의 질 적 수준의 차이, 정책의 사각지대 등을 한계점이 나타나고 있었다. 특히, 다문화가족의 역량이 높아짐에도 불구 하고, 다문화지원정책의 기조가 여전히 초기 정착이나, 한국어 교육, 2차 및 3차 산업 중심의 취업알선 등에 머 물러 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 이에 대하여 다문화가족관련 유사정책을 통합하고 추진주체를 재편함과 동시에 범정부 차원의 통합, 다문화 인구의 유형을 세분화하여 맞춤형 지원을 통해 우리사회에 필요한 인재를 육성할 수 있도록 제도 및 정책설계의 필요성을 제시하였다.
