In this study, we classified questions in 14 statistics-related units of elementary school mathematics textbooks according to the 2009 and 2015 revised curriculum according to the sub-factors and functions of information processing competency by applying the analysis criteria devised in terms of information processing competency. And compared and analyzed. As a result, the 2015 revised mathematics textbook had a small amount of absolute learning compared to the 2009 revised mathematics textbook, but the information processing competency was relatively faithfully reflected, and practical information such as setting the data collection method yourself or presenting the collection situation related to real life. It was composed of questions to learn about the processing process. However, even in the 2015 revised mathematics textbook, the frequency of reflection on “collecting data and information” and “using engineering tools and teaching tools” was found to be low. Based on these findings, from the perspective of information processing competency, we presented implications for the 2015 revised mathematics textbook.

본 연구에서는 2009와 2015 개정 교육과정에 따른 초등학교 수학 교과서의 통계 내용에 대응하는 14개 단원의 문항을 대상으로 정보 처리 역량의 관점에서 고안된 분석 기준을 적용하여 문항을 정보 처리 역량의 하위 요소 및 기능별로 분류하고 정리하여 비교하고 분석하였다. 그 결과 2015 개정 수학과 교과서는 2009 개정 수 학과 교과서와 비교하면 절대적인 학습량은 적지만 정보 처리 역량이 상대적으로 충실히 반영되어 있었으며, 자료 수집 방법을 직접 설정하도록 하거나 실생활과 관 련된 수집 상황을 제시하는 등 실제적인 정보 처리 과정에 대해 학습하기 위한 문 항들로 구성되어 있었다. 다만 2015 개정 수학 교과서에서도 아직‘자료와 정보 수 집’, ‘공학적 도구 및 교구의 활용’에 대한 반영 빈도는 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구 결과에 기초하여 정보 처리 역량의 관점에서 2015 개정 수학과 교 과서에 대한 시사점들을 제시하였다.
