Japanese colonial era The Korean media was a pillar of the national movement. In particular, newspaper editorials were political writings that suggested the tone and direction of newspapers. Most of them, however, are hard to identify who wrote them. However, I was able to confirm the editorial that he contributed to the Dong-A Ilbo in his previous book. During the period from August 1925 to March 1930, he intensively published articles on Korean history and culture in the Dong-A Ilbo. As the editorial of Choe Nam-sun's name was confirmed in the mid- to late 1920s, the editorials related to Joseon history and culture in the Dong-A Ilbo of the corresponding period were analyzed as a whole. According to Choi Nam-sun's track record in the mid- to late 1920s, the process of "relationship" with the Dong-A Ilbo can be seen. There was no difference in the writings on Korean culture and history that Choi Nam-sun contributed to the Dong-A Ilbo and other media outlets. Therefore, he wanted to find a clue to 'differentiation' in the theory of culture of infidelity. The spatial consciousness of Oriental studies, Eastern culture, etc. was expanded in Korean-level thinking. Through this, there is a difference in position between the Dong-A Ilbo and Choi Nam-sun, who share the common exterior and inner circle of the "right wing of nationalism" of the time.

일제강점기 조선인 언론매체는 민족운동의 한 축이었다. 특히 신문 사설은 신문의 논조와 방향성을 제시하는 정치적인 글이었다. 그런데 대부분은 누가 집필했는지를 확인하기 어렵다. 하지만 최남선의 전집에서 동아일보에 기고한 사설을 확인할 수 있었다. 그는 1925년 8월부터 1930년 3월까지의 기간 동안 집중적으로 동아일보에 조선 역사와 문화와 관련한 글을 발표했다. 이글에서는 1920년대 중후반 최남선의 기명 사설이 확인됨에 따라 해당시기 『동아일보』의 조선 역사와 문화 관련 사설을 전체적으로 분석했다. 1920년대 중후반 동아일보에 개제한 조선 역사와 문화 관련 글 분석을 통해 무기명으로 존재한 많은 사설이 이미 전집에 수록된 최남선의 글임을 확인했다. 구체적으로 동아일보 사설 ｢낙랑의 발굴물｣, ｢향토심의 퇴폐｣, ｢교과서의 개선｣ 등이 필자가 최남선이거나 그와 입장을 같이하는 글로 파악했다. 그리고 1920년대 중후반 동아일보와 최남선의 논리와 밀접한 관련성을 지니고 있음을 확인했다. 1920년대 중후반 최남선의 행적을 보면 동아일보와의 ‘결연’의 과정이 병행됨을 볼 수 있다. 당대 최남선이 『동아일보』와 다른 언론매체에 기고했던 조선 문화와 역사에 관한 글에 차이점이 없었다. 따라서 ‘분화’의 단서를 ｢불함문화론｣에서 찾고자 했다. 조선 단위의 사고에서 동양학, 동방문화 등의 공간 의식이 확대되었다. 이를 통해 당대 ‘민족주의 우파’란 공통된 외연과 내포를 지닌 동아일보와 최남선 사이에도 입장 차이가 존재한다고 볼 수 있다.
