This study aimed to show a new aspect on non-read characters on Seokdokgugyul. Firstly, it reveal that non-read phenomenons are mainly categorized by three groups: the unreadable-letter-skipping, dividing notation and position deviation of To(吐) marking. Secondly, this article compares the list of non-read characters of Nampunghyun(2007) and that of sktot(2019). After selecting the differences from two sources, this study examined throughly the adequacy of those as non-read characters as well as presenting a new list of 30 non-read characters. Lastly it represents that non-read characters can be segemented into 4 categories based on detailed reading. And in order to understand the term of non-read characters correctly, it should be comprehensively understood in a way of ‘reading’ which is appeared as the first meaning of the character ‘讀’ on dictionary, beyond in a way of ‘interpretation’ or ‘decoding’.

이 글에서는 자토석독구결의 부독자에 대해 새롭게 살펴보았다. 먼저 자료 안에서 부독 현상이 어떻게 나타나는지를 알아보았는데, ‘건너뛰기(무연고 글자 만들기), 나눠 적기, 현토 위치 일탈하기’의 방법을 확인할 수 있었다. 다음으로 남풍현(2007)에서 제 시한 부독자와 sktot(2019)에서 {}로 처리한 글자를 비교해, 차이를 보이는 글자들을 중심으로 그 타당성을 검증해 보았다. 그 결과 남풍현(2007)의 ‘乃, 復, 時, 亦, 又, 應/ 應可, 或’과 sktot(2019)의 ‘故, 日’은 부독자 목록에서 제외하거나 보류해야 할 글자들 로 판단하였다. 본고에서 제안하는 부독자는 30자로, 남풍현(2007)의 목록에서 7자를 제외하고 sktot(2019)에서 제안한 ‘每’를 추가한 것이다. 마지막으로 부독자를 구성하는 글자들이 4가지의 다른 성격을 지닌 요소들로 구성되어 있으며, 지금까지 통용된 부 독자의 ‘讀’의 의미는 ‘해석/번역’의 의미가 아니라 ‘낭독/독송’의 의미로 파악해야 한다는 사실도 기술하였다.
