Currently, nuclear safety PR, education, and CSR have been implemented to cultivate and mature the community safety culture around nuclear power plants. However, safety culture movements have been practiced without verification of the effects of these methods. Therefore, it is true that the program design of each method is not systematic and has been developed formally at the execution stage. In this context, the purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between nuclear safety PR, education, CSR, and community safety culture. The analysis results of this study are as follows. First, nuclear safety PR had a significant effect on the value of the community safety culture around nuclear power plants. Second, safety education and safety CSR had a significant influence on the norms of community safety culture, while safety PR had no effect. Third, safety PR and safety education had a significant influence on the behavior of the community safety culture, while safety CSR did not.

원전지역에는 안전문화를 함양하고 성숙시키기 위해 원전안전 홍보, 교육, 안전CSR이 시행되고 있지만, 이러한 방식들은 효과에 대한 검증 없이 관행적으로 추진되어 왔다. 그 렇기 때문에 각 방식의 프로그램 설계가 체계적이지 못하여 실행단계에서는 형식적 운영 에 그치는 경우가 많았다. 이러한 배경에서 본 연구는 원전안전 홍보, 교육, CSR이 지역 안전문화에 미치는 영향을 확인하는 데에 연구의 목적을 두었다. 본 연구의 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 지역안전문화의 하위요인중 가치에 대해서는 원전 안전홍보가 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 원전 지역안전문화의 규범에 대해서는 안전교육과 안전 CSR이 유의한 영향관계를 보인 반면, 안전홍보는 영 향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 원전 지역안전문화의 행동에 대해서는 안전홍보와 안전교육이 유의미한 영향관계를 가지는 것으로 나타난 반면, 안전 CSR은 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 분석결과는 지역안전문화의 요인 간 연계되는 효과적인 안전문화운동 방식을 반영하여 프로그램을 설계하는 데에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.
