It's general understanding that in 『Zhouyi(周易)』, Hexagram change(卦變) is difficult and useless vestige of Xiang-shu study(象數學). Yet, in that what's related to Hexagram change was mentioned in 『Tuanzhuan(彖傳)』 holding an important position at Shiyi(十異), it's not a desirable attitude to completely ignore or set aside Hexagram change. Even Yi Chuan(伊川), a representative scholar of Yili(義理), explained almost every Hexagram change case of 『Tuanzhuan』 even though his logical system was not so perfect. Because of which, although it's not necessary to examine all theories of Hexagram change argued by different Xiang-shu scholars of Han Dynasty(漢代), it's meaningful enough to investigate representative Yijing scholars' arguments that can be checked sufficiently with their books and strengths and weaknesses of those theories. But it is almost impossible for a brief review to examine the thousands of theories on the history of 『Zhouyi(周易)』 philosophy and also maybe unnecessary in some viewpoint From this perspective, in this thesis, set limits to only 19 Hexagram change cases of 『Tuanzhuan』, Yi Chuan's 『Yizhuan(易傳)』, Zhūzǐ's 『Benyi(本義)』, Lai Zhide's 『Variorum Edition of Zhouyi( 周易集註)』 famous for Cuozong(錯綜) theory, and Hexagram change was regarded as four important theories of Yijing (易學), Dasan's 『Juyeok Sajeon(周易四箋)』, was selected, and studied how they interpreted those Hexagram changes. It's difficult to grasp the strengths and weaknesses with just one theory, but when it's added to the Hexagram change case of 『Tuanzhuan』 and when the four scholars' theories are compared, it is very interesting point that the validity of the asserted theory will be clearly revealed.

『周易』에 있어서 卦變이라는 것은 뭔가 어렵기만 하고 쓸모없는 象數學의 라는 것이 보편적인 생각일 것이다. 그러나 十異에서 중요한 위치를 점하 고 있는 『彖傳』에 괘변과 관련한 사항이 언급되고 있음을 보면 괘변을 마냥 무시하고 하는 것은 바람직한 태도는 아닌 것 같다. 심지어 대표적인 의리학자인 伊川도 비록 완벽한 논리적 체계는 갖추지 못했지만 『彖傳』의 괘변 사례에 대해서는 그의 『易傳』에서 대부분 빠짐없이 설명하고 있다. 이 런 까닭에 비록 의 여러 상수학자들이 주장했던 을 모두 들춰낼 필요는 없지만, 지금 으로 충분히 확인 할 수 있는 대표적인 역학자들의 괘변에 관한 주장을 살펴서 그 학설의 허실을 살펴보는 것은 충분히 의미 있는 일이라 판단된다. 그러나 에서 나타나는 괘변에 관한 수많은 학설 을 이러한 소논문의 규모에서 전부 살펴보는 것은 실제적으로 무리한 작업이 고, 또 어느 면에서는 불필요할 수도 있다. 이러한 차원에서 본 논문은 『彖傳』에서 나타나는 19개의 괘변 사례에 한정 하여, 伊川의 『易傳』과 朱子의 『本義』, 그리고 錯綜 이론으로 유명한 來知德의와 茶山의 『周易四箋』을 선택해서 네 명의 학자들이 어떻게 단전의 괘변을 해석하고 있는가를 비교 분석하였다. 하나의 학설만으로는 그 장단점을 파악하기가 어렵지만 『彖傳』의 괘변 사례에 붙여서 네 분의 학설을 비교해 보면 그 주장하는 내용의 타당성이 명확하게 드러난다는 점에서 흥미 로운 논문이 될 것을 기대한다.
