The purpose of this study is to systematically reveal the compilation process of 80 volumes of Songsajeon and 100 volumes and 150 volumes of Eojeonsongsajeon by utilizing literature research and actual research to present basic data for bibliographic literature research. To this end, 80 volumes of Songsajeon examine the records of Ilsungrok and Jeongjo’s Eochal and the existing research to reveal the people and processes involved in the excerpt, editing, and proofreading. 100 volumes and 150 volumes of Eojeonsongsajeon is analyzed for each compilation and format by examining records of Annals of King Jeongjo, Hongjaejeonseo and literary works, existing research and existing texts, and examines in detail what kind of compilation process the Eojeonsongsajeon was completed. As a result of the analysis, the excerpt, editing and proofreading of 80 volumes of Songsajeon was Jeongjo. Jeongjo began on January 3rd, 46th year of King Yeongjo (1770), and completed the excerpt, editing, and correction of the case on August 25th of that year. Bonki and Ji were excerpted and corrected, and only excerpts were made for Yeoljeon. In the 48th year of King Yeongjo (1772), the excerpt was corrected in consultation with Hong, Bong-han, and Seogi was consulted with Hong, Nak-in and Yurimjeon was also consulted with Hong, Nak-shin. 100 volumes of Eojeonsongsajeon are based on the Seolye (序例) compiled by Jeongjo, and the total editorial responsibility was taken by Seo, Myeong-eung, and on October 10, the 4th year of King Jeongjo (1780). It consisted of 100 volumes and 40 books, including Bonki 4, Ji 34, and Sega 4, Yeoljeon 56, Uilye 1, Moglog 1. This book is composed of Bonki, Ji, Sega, and Yeoljeon. 150 volumes of Eojeonsongsajeon were revised and completed by Lee, Deok-moo, and completed in the 15th year of King Jeongjo by alternately transcribing the students of the government school. It consisted of 150 volumes and 61 books, including Uilye 1, Moglog 1. Bonki 8, Ji 47, Sega 2, Yeoljeon 91. This completed version is Eojeonsongsajeon of 奎1800 that remains in Gyujanggak. The results of this study were very meaningful in the fields of bibliography, records management and history. This result is expected to be used as basic data for those who study the history of literature in the Yeong-Jeongjo period.

본 연구는 문헌연구 및 실물조사를 활용하여 『송사전』 80권본과 『어정송사전』 100권본 및 150권본의 편찬과정 을 체계적으로 밝혀 서지학분야 문헌 연구에 기초자료를 제시하는 것이 목적이다. 이를 위해 『송사전』 80권본은 『일성록』 및 정조의 어찰에 나타난 기록들과 기존 연구를 조사하여 발췌, 편집 및 교정에 관계한 사람 및 과정에 대해 밝히고, 『어정송사전』 100권본 및 150권본은 『정조실록』 , 『홍재전서』 및 문집 등의 기록, 기존 연구 및 현존본을 조사하여 편찬 및 체재에 대해 분석하여 『어정송사전』 이 어떠한 편찬 과정을 거쳐 이루어졌는지를 구체적으로 살펴보았다. 분석결과 송사전󰡕 80권본의 발췌, 편집 및 교정자는 정조였다. 정조는 영조 46년(1770) 1월 3일에 시작하여 송사의 발췌, 편집 및 교정을 그해 8월 25일에 마쳤다. 본기와 지는 발췌하여 교정을 하였고, 열전은 발췌만 해두었다. 영조 48년(1772)에 홍봉한과 상의하여 발췌본의 교정을 하였고, 서기는 홍낙인, 유림전 은 홍낙신과도 상의하여 진행하였다. 『어정송사전』 100권본은 정조가 편찬한 서례(序例)에 의거하여 서명응이 총 편집의 책임을 맡아 정조 4년(1780) 10월 10일에 본기 4권, 지 34권, 세가 4권, 열전 56권, 의례 1권, 목록 1권 등 총 100권 40책으로 이루어졌다. 이 책은 본기, 지, 세가, 열전으로 이루어졌다. 『어정송사전』 150권본은 이덕무를 시켜 수정 완성하고 관학제생들에게 선사교대시켜 정조 15년(1791) 의례 1권, 목록 1권, 본기 8권, 지 47권, 세가 2권, 열전 91권의 총 150권 61책으로 완성하였다. 이 완성본이 현재 규장각에 남아 있는 奎1800의 『어정송사전』 이다. 본 연구는 서지학, 기록관리학 및 역사학 분야에서 매우 유의미한 결과들을 얻었다. 이 결과는 영․정조 시대의 문헌사를 연구하는 이들에게 기초적인 데이터로 활용될 것으로 기대한다.
