The purpose of this study is to investigate the 62 paper Taekkyeon-related studies in domestic KCI journals between 2013 to 2019, and present future tasks of Taekkyeon research. For this purpose, a total of five categories were classified and analyzed. The major result from this study were following. First, the number of papers per year has been steadily carried out until 2016 and has been decreasing since 2017. Second, the number of researchers was higher in the ratio of two or more joint research than the one-person study, showing a tendency to increase academic or complex research. Third, it has been shown that the field of research is mainly focused on the martial arts, and although it is small, Taekkyon research has expanded to various fields. Fourth, research subjects were found to be biased toward history/ideology/philosophy, and various subjects were not studied. Fifth, the research method showed higher frequency of qualitative research than quantitative research. Based on these results, for academic development, Taekkyeon-related research should be accompanied by hosting a Taekkyeon Academic Contest, collaborative research with researchers of various majors, Taekkyeon research applied with basic theories in various fields of research, research subjects from various perspectives, and securing flexibility in research methods.

본 연구는 2013년부터 2019년까지 국내 KCI 학술지에 게재된 택견 관련 연구 총 62편을 살펴보고 분석결과를 통해 시사점을 도출하여 향후 택견연구의 연구방향 및 과제를 제시하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 연도별, 저자유형, 연구영역, 연구주제, 연구방법 등 총 다섯 가지로 분류하여 분석을 하였으며 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 연도별 논문 수는 2016년까지 꾸준히 진행되어 오다가 2017년을 기점으로 감소되는 추세를 보여 택견에 대한 연구자의 관심이 낮아지고 있으며 학문적 역량 확보가 시급함을 시사 하였다. 둘째, 저자유형은 1인 단독연구 보다 2인 이상의 공동연구의 비율이 높게 나타나 연구의 질적 수준을 높이고, 학제적 또는 복합적인 연구가 증가하는 경향을 보였다. 셋째, 연구영역은 주로 무도학에 편중되어 있으며 비록 적지만 택견 연구가 다양한 분야로 확대된 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 연구주제는 역사/ 사상/철학으로 편중되어 있으며 다양한 주제가 연구되지 못하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 연구방법은 정량연구보 다 정성연구의 빈도가 높게 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 볼 때 택견 관련 연구가 학문적 발전을 위해서는 대학 및 대학원 교육과정에 택견과목 개설과 택견단체 및 관련 기관의 택견학술대회개최, 다양한 전공의 연구자들과의 협업연구, 다양한 연구 분야의 기초이론을 적용한 택견 연구, 다양한 관점의 연구주제, 연구방법의 유연성 확보 등이 수반되어야 할 것이다.
