As for the subjects in this study, 300 elderly people who were at the age of 65 and over and who engaged in leisure sports activities in cultural centers, community service centers, welfare agencies and senior citizen centers in the region of Youngdong as of 2020 were selected as the population, and convenience sampling was used. Among the collected data, the data from 289 respondents were analyzed except for the questionnaires from 11 respondents that weren't fully filled out or included double answers. First, the leisure sports activities of the community elderly people exerted influence on their cultural value orientation. Second, the leisure sports activities of the community elderly people exerted influence on their perceived social connectedness Third, the leisure sports activities of the community elderly people had a causal relationship with their cultural adjustment and perceived social connectedness.

본 연구는 지역사회 노인들의 여가스포츠 활동이 문화적 가치성향 및 사회적 연결감에 미치는 영향을 규명하는데 있으며, 강원도 영동지역에 거주하고, 문화센터, 자치센터, 복지회관, 경로당에서 여가스포츠 활동을 하고 있는 만 65세 이상 노인들을 모집단으로 표본을 추출하였다. 첫째, 지역사회 노인들의 여가스포츠 활동과 문화적 가치성향의 관계를 분석한 결과 적극성은 수직적 개인주의, 수직적 집단주의, 수평적 개인주의에 조직력은 수직적 개인주의, 수직적 집단주의 에 각각 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 지역사회 노인들의 여가스포츠 활동과 사회적 연결감의 관계를 분석한 결과 적극성은 유대감과 사회적 소속감에 문제해결과 조직력은 유대감에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 지역사회 노인들의 여가스포츠 활동과 문화적 가치성향 및 사회적 연결감 간의 인과적 관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다.
