This study applied the APIM model to 168 couples participating in leisure sports to verify the relationship of leisure satisfaction according to the personality characteristics of the couple. The collected data were analyzed by applying the APIM model to verify the couple's self-effect and relative effect after item analysis, correlation analysis, and verification of the validity and reliability of the survey tool. First, as a result of analyzing the self and relative effects of leisure satisfaction according to the personality characteristics of couples, in neurosis, the wife's self-effect in the wife's leisure satisfaction had a greater negative (-) influence than the husband's relative effect. Second, in openness, the husband's self-effect on the husband's leisure satisfaction had a greater positive (+) influence than the wife's relative effect. Third, in extroversion, the wife's self-effect on the wife's leisure satisfaction had more positive (+) influence than the husband's relative effect. In addition, there was no significant difference between self and relative effects on husband's leisure satisfaction. Fourth, in conscientiousness, the relative effect of the wife on the husband's leisure satisfaction had a higher positive (+) influence than the self effect of the husband. Fifth, in agreeableness, the wife's self-effect on the wife's leisure satisfaction had a higher positive (+) influence than the husband's relative effect.

본 연구는 여가스포츠에 참여하는 부부 168쌍을 대상으로 부부의 성격특성에 따른 여가만족의 관계를 검증하기 위하여 APIM모형을 적용하였다. 수집된 자료는 문항분석과 상관분석, 그리고 조사도구의 타당도 및 신뢰도 검증을 거친 후, 부부의 자기효과 및 상대효과를 검증하기 위하여 APIM모형을 적용하여 분석하였다. 첫째, 부부의 성격특성에 따른 여가만족의 자기 및 상대효과 분석 결과, 성격특성의 하위요인인 신경증요인에서 아내의 여가만족에 아내의 자기효과가 남편의 상대효과보다 부적(-) 영향력이 크게 나타났다. 둘째, 개방성요인에서 남편의 여가만족에 남편의 자기효과가 아내의 상대효과보다 정적(+) 영향력이 크게 나타났다. 셋째, 외향성요인에서 아내의 여가만족에 아내의 자기효과가 남편의 상대효과보다 정적(+) 영향력이 크게 나타났다. 또한 남편의 여가만족에 자기 및 상대효과는 유의미한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 넷째, 성실성요인에서 남편의 여가만족에 아내의 상대효과가 남편의 자기효과보다 정적(+) 영향력이 높게 나타났다. 다섯째, 친화성요인에서 아내의 여가만족에 아내의 자기효과가 남편의 상대효과보다 정적(+) 영향력이 높게 나타났다. 본 연구를 통해 여가만족에 대한 부부의 성격특성이 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나 관련 후속연구가 필요하다.
