In this paper, we presented the necessity of securing a smoke proof performance that could affect evacuation of an unspecified number of occupants among the performance of fire doors installed in museums or private cultural property exhibition spaces, and examined the possibility of smokeproofing when installing fire doors in the exhibition space through analysis of experimental data. In addition, basic data on the structure of fire doors were presented so that people with disabilities could not escape in the exhibition space in case of an emergency to propose data on fire safety in the exhibition space.

본 논문에서는 박물관 또는 사설 문화재 전시공간에 설치하는 방화문의 성능 중 불특정 다수의 피난에 영향을 줄 수 있는 차연 성능 확보의 필요성 등을 제시하고 이를 위한 실험 자료 등의 분석을 통하여 전시 공간 내 방화문을 설치할 경우 차연 성능 확보 가능성을 검토하였다. 또한 전시공간에서 비상상황 발생 시 장애인들의 피난에 지장이 없도록 방화문 구조에 대 한 기본적인 자료도 제시하여 전시 공간 내 화재안전에 대한 자료를 제시하고자 하였다.
