The purpose of this study is to analyzes the head shape of the Kisaeng of the Joseon dynasty in the narrative of the film and TV drama . Therefore, this paper aims to show how the film and TV drama describe Hwang Jin Yi differently. According to the result of the study, the film is tend to show her as an independent woman in 16th century so that they used dark fabrics black color of hair accessories and wearing calm make-up. Whereas, TV drama wearing splendid color of clothes and make-up and hair accessories in order to describe a self-deliant character.
