In this study, all the dances in Korea were not too much in the form of curves, and even the costumes of the dances and even the musical instruments were united with the dance. Thus, the hermeneutic discussion on the aesthetics of line is largely summarized as ‘line of blank’, ‘line of horizontal’, and ‘line of leap’. Korean beauty is the art of line, and it was possible to explore how Korean curve beauty contemplates beauty. Even though the study is limited to dance, the round shape of the percussion instrument , the power of the curve of ceramics, the warpage and the shape of curve in Korean Painting are meaningful in that they can consistently mean the aesthetic identity of Korean art.

본 연구는 비단 춤으로 국한된 연구라고 할지라도 사물 악기의 둥근 형태, 도자기 의 곡선의 힘, 수묵화에서의 난의 휘어짐과 곡선의 형태 등은 한국예술의 미적 정체성 을 일관되게 의미화 할 수 있다는 점에서 의의를 둔다. 한국의 미는 선의 예술로서, 한 국적 곡선미는 어떠한 양상에서 미를 관조하고 있는지 탐구할 수 있었다. 즉 한국의 모든 춤은 고리체, 궁체, 태극사위라는 용어만 보아도 곡선의 형태라고 해도 지나치지 않았고 이는 복식, 악기까지도 춤사위와 일체를 이루며 뚜렷한 형을 일 관하고 있었다. 이처럼 춤사위와 어우러지는 특유의 예술적 현상은 선의 미학에 관한 논의를 통해 크게 ‘여백의 선’, ‘수평의 선’, ‘비상의 선’으로 요약되며, 한국춤의 선과 예술의 미를 보다 구조적으로 해석할 수 있었다.
