The purpose of the present study is to analyze the levels of early childhood pre-service teachers’ anxiety on teaching practicum, self-esteem, and competency on interpersonal ability, and how these factors are interrelated. 119 pre-service teachers from 3-year and 4-year universities who were about to begin their teaching practicum participated in the current study. After the pre-service teachers submitted a series of survey questionnaire, Pearson correlation and multiple regression analysis were conducted using SPSS 25.0 version. The pre-service teachers' self-esteem appeared to be 4.08 out of 5, competency on interpersonal ability was 3.71, and teaching practicum anxiety was 4.27. and their self-esteem appeared to significantly affect practicum anxiety. Based on these findings, teacher training institutes are encouraged to conduct programs designed to reduce practicum anxiety. It also provided implication that the institutes need to promote pre-service teachers' emotional well-being, including self-esteem, instead of mainly inclining to delivering technical knowledge.

본 논문은 예비유아교사들의 자아존중감, 대인관계 유능감과 보육실습불안과의 상관관계를 알아보고 보육실 습불안에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 알아보고자 하였다. 연구대상은 3년제 및 4년제 유아교육과에 재학 중인 119명의 보육실습을 앞둔 예비유아교사들이며, 설문조사를 실시한 뒤 SPSS 25.0 버전을 활용하여 Pearson 상관관계 및 중다 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 예비유아교사들의 자아존중감은 5점 만점에 4.08점으로 나타났으며, 대인관계 유능감은 3.71 점, 보육실습불안감은 4.27점으로 나타났다. 예비유아교사들의 자아존중감은 보육실습불안과 부적인 상관관계를 보이 며 유의미한 영향을 끼치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 예비유아교사들의 보육실습불안을 해소시킬 수 있는 교원양성기 관의 노력과 불안 개선 프로그램 실행이 필요하며, 전문적 지식 습득 위주의 교원양성기관 교육과정 운영을 개선하는 노력과 자아존중감 향상을 위한 예비유아교사 정서 지원 대책도 필요함을 시사 받을 수 있다.
