In this paper, linked data, which is directly read and processed by computers, is spreading around public data and cultural and artistic data. In order for the next generation of web technologies centered on linked data to be activated, useful data must be published on the web in RDF format. Relational databases are operational data stores that can effectively obtain useful linked data if these data are provided as RDFs of linked data. In this paper, a new entity-based mapping method of mapping RDB data to RDF is proposed. Entity-based mapping is an RDB-RDF schema mapping that realizes SPARQL query processing in RDF while maintaining the RDB structure and performance. The mapping method in this paper is expected to provide a new approach to linked dataization of RDB data by making it easy to implement SPARQL endpoints in RDB.

본 논문은 웹 데이터를 컴퓨터가 직접 읽고 처리하는 링크드 데이터(Linked Data)가 공공 데이터와 문 화예술 데이터를 중심으로 확산되고 있다. 링크드 데이터 중심의 차세대 웹 기술이 활성화 되기 위해서는 유용한 데이터들이 RDF(Resource Description Framework) 형식으로 웹 상에 발표되어야 한다. 관계데이터베이스는 운 영 데이터 저장고로써 이들 데이터가 링크드 데이터의 RDF로 제공된다면 유용한 링크드 데이터를 효과적으로 확 보할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 RDB(Relationl DataBase) 데이터를 RDF로 매핑하는 새로운 엔티티(Entity) 기반 매핑 방식을 제안한다. 엔티티 기반 매핑은 RDB-RDF 스키마 매핑으로, RDB 구조와 성능이 그대로 유지하면서 RDF의 SPARQL 질의 처리를 실현한다. 본 논문의 매핑 방식은 RDB에 간편하게 SPARQL(Simple Protocol and RDF Query Language) 엔드포인트(end-point)를 구현할 수 있도록 하여, RDB 데이터의 링크드 데이터화에 새로운 접근 방향을 제시할 것으로 기대된다.
